It was a lovely place to stay and Kath was a great host. A real "home from home" with every little thing taken care of. Would 100% recommend and will be coming back, hopefully under better circumstances worldwide!

Wonderful place to stay!

We spent 7 nights in the accommodation, it is in a convenient and quiet town centre location and has all that you would require for a perfect “home from home”.
The accommodation is comfortable and well appointed with free view tv and WiFi.
The main tourist attractions and a great choice of restaurants are all within easy walking distance.
This is great accommodation in a brilliant location, we’ll be back.

Perfect “home from home”

Enjoyed stay at Arkland cottage flat. Warm and comfortable accommodation. Close to all amenities. All home comforts. Would recommend for a break. There were 5 of us in the group each of us had a great time.

Weekend break

This is the second time I have stayed at Arkland and it provides a very pleasant and homely environment in which to explore the area.   The facilities are always immaculately clean and I would no hesitation in staying again.

Great Accommodation

A great base in a lovely place. We stayed in the first floor flat and found it homely and had everything you could possibly want, for a good price.
We didn't meet the owner, but she gave us lots of information and help by email.

Everything you could want!

We're just back from lovely weekend at Loch Fyne Food Fair having stayed in the 1st floor flat at Arkland.  Cathy was very welcoming and showed us round the flat before leaving us to settle in.  Two ample double bedrooms which were lovely and airy.  We just used the flat as a base and weren't really in it much, but the property has absolutely everything you could need, plus more.  Straight across the road from The George which was too handy.
We'll be back again.
