Nearest hotel to Cardiff for a concert, staff were available for checking in/out and provided information for travel into Cardiff also The Beefeater on the site was handy for food and drinks 

Room was small and very dated, really needs a refurb. 

Worst night's sleep on a prem inn bed, really felt like it was sagging in the middle. 

Paint peeling from areas in both bedroom and bathroom with holes in the bed base and wooden trim peeling from desk.

Very dated, small room

We arrived after a long, slow drive from Cornwall to be greeted by a welcoming smile from the lady at reception. we booked in and made ourselves comfortable in the small, but clean room on the ground floor. We stayed for three nights, breakfast and dinner in the Beefeater. Everything was good.

A Great weekend stay.

After a very difficult drive in pouring rain, it was a great relief to find a welcoming smile waiting for us at this Premier Inn when we finally arrived after 9pm.  Carl helped us check in quickly, gave us extra towels and even printed out for us directions for parking in the centre of Cardiff the next day.

Not great people smoke outside of reception and I had to shut my window as it was coming into my room,

Awful

Stayed here mid October 2023 for 2 nights for a training course locally. Hotel is very tired and run down. Rooms are clean as is bedding and bathroom. But rooms are very tired. Bed was damaged around base and desk laminated edging was coming off. Bathroom had mold and sealant was very grubby.  But the staff as normal where very good.

As title. The whole hotel is very tired inside and out. And my issues might only be minor. But they are first impression and they tend to stick. If you've travel a few hours to get there and the first thing you see is tired building and a litter filled car park you think the worse. 

Tried and Run down. Relaying reputation a little to much

Very clean and comfortable, bathroom sparkling, really good value only 10 minutes drive from Wales capital and parking included. Appreciated being able to choose between a light continental breakfast and not pay lots for food I wasnt going to eat. The only reason for not saying "excellent" was that you really need to be in the know to spot what to do about parking - I was expecting to enter my details at check in but actually there is a separate system for this which isnt obvious to infrequent PI users like me. 

Very clean, comfortable and good value.

The room was tired and grubby, and generally run down. The super-comfy bed nowhere to be seen… the mattress was extremely uncomfortable. Reception staff were friendly, but overall… Very disappointing. 

Terrible sleep

Very dirty hotel .stayed here a few years ago and it is no where near dirty then as it is now .it’s very run down and tatty ,shower doors are black and full of dirt/grime .
Looked liked the carpet have not been hoovered ,one dirty cup in the room with lipstick on .Cardiff east is totally run down and cleaners need to be quiet rather than laughing in the hallway ,please consider people working or resting .I think all these issues need to be addressed with the manager especially as covid is on the rise ,it needs a good wake up call .reception staff nice but that’s all
I can say ,won’t be staying here again.

Never again 

Avoid this hotel I had to stay here as my usual hotel Cardiff north was fully booked every morning from 7.30 I was woken to a constant banging, the cleaners would use the deadbolt on the door to stop it locking,which I will add didn’t happen at Cardiff north, really not good when you’ve just done a night shift, the cleaners have zero respect for anyone who maybe resting
