We spent two nights here in July. The owner couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. Situated on a hill side above Folkstone with great views. The rooms was clean and well-appointed with very comfortable beds. The cooked breakfast was perfection.

Could not have asked for more. Host helped us out with a problem and went above and beyond. Room had all we needed and expected. Great Breakfast and conversation.
Leafy area and great views. Will return one day. Thanks for everything.

We have just come back from a lovely stay at Crete Down B&B, oh my goodness, Henryka was the best host and such a friendly warm welcome upon arriving. Our bedrooms (had 2 as we had our children with us), were clean & spotless, both rooms had en-suite which again very clean, showers worked perfectly and having the wifi was an added bonus. The cooked breakfast was plentiful. Views from the front room were excellent, on a clear day you can see France, and the view from the back room looks out over the garden which is beautiful and quiet. Slept really well. We would recommend and hope to stay with her again.

My husband and I stayed here on Saturday 27 June. We had a lovely room which was very clean and comfortable. Henriyka was delightful and very welcoming. The breakfast was cooked fresh and extremely good. Plenty to eat here! Would definitely recommend.

Comfortable beds and very welcoming host

Lovely B&B lovely lady!

We stayed one night here and although the bed was comfortable and the room was pleasant, it was not an experience that I would repeat. When we arrived the lady was out so we went for a walk. I really didnt mind being asked to take my shoes off, but in the bedroom was a list of rules which did not all seem reasonable. One asked for avoidance of noise and even seemed to suggest that conversation should be avoided. When we went out for supper, we asked for a key to our room but had quite a dispute before we were given a key. As there were other strangers coming to stay and we were leaving all our worldly belongings, we thought it was best to look our door.  She said she didnt want us to take the key because we might lose it.
She was really quite argumentative and we didn't enjoy that side of it.  We also had to pay as soon as we arrived and she wouldn't take a credit card.  She also said there was an extra charge if we wanted breakfast even though it was clearly stated that it was a bed and breakfast location and normally breakfast is included.  It was  a nice room, but I'd rather go elsewhere.
