My wife and I stayed here in a suite. The accommodation was lovely, with fantastic views, a very comfortable bed, a dressing room with massive storage and a lovely bathroom with a claw-foot bath but no separate shower. The owner Caryl was friendly and attentive and provided a very nice continental-plus breakfast with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and a good selection of serve-yourself items. Highly recommended, we will certainly come back here!

Absolutely brilliant stay in this fantastic establishment. Very stylish surroundings and so peaceful. Our host, Caryl, treated us like one of the family. Don't look any further, just book this mini Downton Abbey experience. Will not go anywhere else if we were to return to this part of Wales.

Lovely cottage with beautiful surroundings.  Hostess was very friendly.  Spent four nights with our 87 year old mother and family (and our 14 year old sprocker) second time of being here and still just as enjoyable as first time.

We have had a lovely few days staying in the cottage at Plas Y Dderwen. Caryl, who owns the property, gave us a warm welcome with lots of helpful tips about what to see and do. The cottage itself is lovely - very well equipped and very comfortable and you certainly would not know there was anyone else around. I had my parents with me and they have restricted movement so the cottage was perfect as it was all on the flat and there was an enormous shower cubicle that was very easy for them too. The kitchen is great and there’s even a little dishwasher and a washing machine. It is a very peaceful, rural location, but very quick into the centre of Aberystwyth and all of its attractions. I would highly highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be returning. 

We stayed here for 4 nights. What a wonderful house and Caryll, the property owner, was so friendly and helpful and such a caring host. The breakfast was amazing and the views over the fields and hills are fantastic. It’s so quiet too so I had the best nights sleep ever. The internal photos don’t do it justice - it’s new and immaculately clean. This rates as one of the best places I have ever stayed. Thanks Caryll - we look forward to seeing you again soon.

This is a luxury B&B and is an absolute delight.

Caryl the owner is very friendly and attentive.

The property is a few miles outside Aberystwyth  situated in its own grounds. A very special property.

The breakfast was lovely and fresh and very tasty. 

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. 

The suite we had was exceptional, cleanliness to the highest level. The bed very comfortable with feather pillows etc. 
The view was very relaxing, super friendly owners whose attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed; the Molton Brown liquid soap and White Linen towels added an extra touch of luxury. The breakfast was tasty and very relaxed.

My partner and I stayed at this B&B after an emergency required us to extend our trip to Wales by one night. I booked via Booking.com after the app recommend that it had good reviews and was less than ten miles away. I am so pleased that I did!
  The property is absolutely stunning and situated away from the busy town but still in an ideal location. We were greeted by an automatic gate and a beautiful garden with comfortable seating and relaxing countryside views for when the weather is nice. Our hosts were there to greet us and made us feel immediately at home after a difficult day. They were very likeable people and easy to talk to.
  We fell in love with our room as soon as it was shown to us. I honestly don’t understand how anybody could rate this B&B with any less than the five stars that it deserves. We stayed in the suite which consisted of the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in with high quality bedding (something that I always appreciate), a full length mirror, a tv, a seating area over looking the beautiful view, and plenty of room. There was also a dressing room with a large wardrobe and a kettle with a nice tea selection. The bathroom had an amazing claw foot bathtub too! Our room also had a large bottle of hand sanitiser in which we greatly appreciated.
  Breakfast is staggered in order to fit everyone in and maintain social distancing, it was continental due to the current situation but I was not disappointed. There was a large selection to choose from and I was given a large pot of tea.
  I cannot recommend this place enough, if you are considering stopping here then do it! You will not be disappointed! We will be back for another visit as soon as we can. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! 

We stayed at the cottage over Christmas and had family nearby . It was a wonderful experience- quiet, comfortable and beautiful surrounding countryside.
Caryl was a wonderful hostess and very welcoming and kind. 
The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in.
Would thoroughly recommend!
