A very tiny shabby room.  A gloss chest of drawers had a piece missing, and I was worried I could have caught my leg on it. An electrical plug had tape on it.A divan bed looked years old and squeaked every time I moved. The wallpaper was horrible and had bits missing. The windows rattled in the wind. There was a bedside cabinet that had seen a better days, and if you put it at the side of the bed, you couldn't get to the bathroom or get out of the door. I wish I could have changed rooms, but the hotel was full.

The food was good, and the waitress that served us was amazing. The evening entertainment was OK. The only good thing was that the drinks in the downstairs bar were half price.

Shabby single broom cupboard 

The staff very friendly.  Food was good, excellent service.
Bingo at 8pm with a singer(s) afterwards. Single room and bathroom very small, but was only in it to change and sleep. Bed comfortable. Room clean. Could do with updating though. Shower only luke warm water. The one lift only took 3 people at a time.

Easter 5 day coach holiday

I was the substitute on a family coach trip as a family member couldn't go. Luckily, I had a week off work at the same time.
Can't fault the location of the hotel. I stayed in a twin room, even though the location is situated on a road leading to the seafront we could see the sea from our room.
Free WiFi throughout, did need to ask at reception for the password, hairdryer, flat screen TV, kettle, cups, milk, tea, coffee in the room as well as towels, soap and shower gel. Very comfy beds, I slept very well. Even though we were at the front, didn't really notice the sounds of the traffic, in fact I would say it was quiet. There were some signs of wear and tear but nothing major, room still very comfortable.
Food, great. Good selection to choose from for starters, mains and pudding.
Friendly barman.

Coach trip to Eastbourne

Just returned from 5day stay,single room small but had everything thing I needed food was of a high standard and plenty of it.entertainment was ok with bingo included,the staff throughout the hotel where first class.lift was a bit small with a grid door inside difficult when using a walking stick,will be back first class stay very clean throughout.

My stay.

Although a lot about this hotel is positive. It is a nightmare for the single guest. The Single bedroom I was in was so small it was claustrophobic. It appears they have very little interest in the client experience or satisfaction. People have a right to decent and adequate hotel accommodation. Money may be made by sticking people in broom cupboards. Reputation, however is lost when no interest is shown regarding the obvious displeasure it causes the unlucky guest.

No place to be single.

What a fantastic hotel x A warm welcome.All the team are friendly excellent service x The food is just fantastic.good choice well presented hot.The entertainment was awesome.we were dancing every night  . We had a fantastic holiday x thanks to the lovely staff at the Haddon hall hotel Eastbourne 

FANTASTIC HOLIDAY 

My wife and myself have just had a 4 days stay at this hotel and been satisfied with the hotel over all,the food is good and plenty,
Staff very helpful and polite,very clean and tidy,but far too many chairs in the reception area,you can’t move for them.
Our other comment would be the lift being too small,only 3 people at one time,and when the Hotel is full it can be a bit frustrating.
My wife has Disability but we were helped and assisted by both visitors and staff,so thank you to all.
We went with KM Travel Barnsley and as always they did us well,and we had a good coach driver IAN.

Good holiday

went on a coach trip with coopers tours, everything was lovely apart from the weather.
Hotel room good, bathroom good with a lovely shower. Plenty of food at mealtimes with a good selection to choose from. hotel also in a good location, come out the front door turn right  to the seafront and walk out to the left and keep going you will get to the town centre.
Excursions with coopers we really enjoyed, coach drivers both main and feeder coaches were excellent.

Enjoyed our eastbourne break

Very small room and (for us) very small bed (double). Most ancient lift we had ever seen - still has the cage door you have to pull across - amazed that health and safety still allow it. Our room had a bath but no shower - not great at all for us.we opted for breakfast the first morning, but despite a very long menu you were only permitted to chose one thing - we had to negotiate to get both muesli and yogurt! The coffee pot was over filled so when you tipped to pour it all came out of the top. We told the waitress but she didn’t seem to care. Furnishings in bedroom are worn and there was a big stain on the ceiling. 

Dated hotel but good location

Returned today from a 8 day holiday with KM travel 
Well organised from start to finish 
The hotel is dated but very clean 
Rooms cleaned daily and all staff work really hard 
Can't fault the food either 
I don't normally do evening meals but ate it all every evening 
Entertainment was ok but the ballroom is far far far to hot 
Had to leave every night couldn't cope with it so missed out with company we were in 
Met some lovely people again and keeping in touch 
Would definitely return may be in a couple years 
Would definitely recommend
