We took advantage of Dunsley Hall's Autumn D,B&B offer and it was a wonderful stay. The location, facilities, room, staff and food were first class. The quality of the food for dinner and breakfast was excellent, all seved by the best staff we've encountered over the last few years. The historic property has recently been refurbished very well in a sympathetic and classic fashion. We will definitely return.

First class stay

Had a fabulous 1 night stay for my husband’s birthday after being recommended this hotel by friends.  The room was nicely decorated & clean, complementary bottles of water, tea & coffee & a fan provided as it was a warm day.  Had evening meal & breakfast at the hotel which were included in the £150 DB&B package we’d booked.  Food was excellent & very good value for money with the package.  Free parking & only a short drive from all the attractions & beaches on the N Yorks Coast.  Lovely grounds to sit out or have a stroll around.  We will definitely be back.

Great 1 night stay

we had a fabulous stay for our anniversary.  the staff are very friendly and very helpful.  we absolutely loved oliver who was amazing 👏.  five stars for you oliver.  you was so kind and helpful.  we had a wheelchair accessible room. there was lots of space. the hotel is beautifully decorated.  it was spotlessly clean. the grounds were stunning with the flowers in bloom. the breakfast was nice with gluten free options.  my only negative is that the WiFi didn't reach room 21. thank you for our wonderful stay

Fabulous stay

Another lovely and relaxing stay at Dunsley Hall. The staff are always courteous, warm and welcoming. The setting and character of the Hall is fabulous. Combined with great food and service next door at the brilliant Harleys. Can’t wait to stay again. Highly recommended!!

Another fabulous stay at Dunsley Hall.

As always a lovely stay, excellent food. Tip pay for an upgrade, it’s worth the money. Our favourite rooms are the bridal suite and room 1.

Would have loved to go back for our wedding Anniversary in January but they will be closed from Monday 30th Oct 2023 until March 2024. For much needed work.
(Staff only found out this week, but hope to see everyone again next year) xx

Lovely stay as always our 5th time

Lovely quiet hotel with very friendly staff and spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms . We had a two night stay which included full English breakfast and Dinner . 
        The food was wonderful and the restaurant was relaxing with great service . Like to mention the waitress with the Mohican hair cut who worked her socks off making sure everybody was served in a timely manor in spite of the restaurant being busy . 
       Our room had tea and coffee making facilities as well as a multi channel TV . Lovely bath with lashings of hot water . We will definitely be back for more of the same please . 
Thanks to all staff for making our stay so memorable, well done all of you .

Two night break with breakfast and dinner

Enjoyed an overnight stay on the £99 breakfast and dinner deal.👍 What excellent value for money. The evening menu was great and the food was delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing. Congratulations to the chefs. You should box and sell the sticky toffee.😆👍 breakfast was also delicious, top quality products.
Service was great.
Our room was lovely.
We will definitely be back.

Excellent stay and great value

Stayed here for one night and could not fault the place. From Oliver in the bar rushed off his feet to Sophie in the restaraunt the time was perfect.
Dinner menu was small but still covered all the bases and it was very tasty and cooked to our liking. Wife is a fussy eater and Sophie made sure her meal was spot on.
Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was immaculate. Both air conditioners and electric. heating were provided if needed
Overall would recomend a stay here.

Great stay 

I took my wife here for a break was a lovely stay, we had the dinner and breakfast deal which was great value. The hotel is lovely and the staff are really friendly and attentive. We had our dog with us and he had a lovely stay too. The dinner was a three course meal with some good choices and breakfast was very filling. It’s about a 10 minute drive to Whitby and about 25 to Robins hood bay

Stayed overnight on a trip to whitby.very old country hall .staff very friendly hotel rooms spacious and comfortable with queen sized bed.food was very nice  and breakfast was very good.i would stay again
