I was accommodated here for around 4 months whilst working in the area. The hotel seemed generally run down, the cleaning staff were unhelpful and loathed to do their job, equally the management was of little assistance. The only other frequent customers of the hotel seemed to be of the illicit kind. I would never pay to stay here myself.

One To Avoid!

Not much of a hotel; it's more of a place for you to crash; no breakfast, no laundry, no gym, no .... The room was okay, the location is fine and close to RAK Mall and restaurants. Don't expect much and won't be disappointed. What I found alarming is the fact that they rent rooms per hour!! A red flag right there.

Average Hotel

I have stayed in this hotel now for over a month now (reluctantly, due to being contracted for work nearby) along with 19 of my colleagues, the opinion is pretty unanimous that it sucks. 

There have been many problems in this hotel so far, the majority of the staff will ignore any requests to replenish basic room supplys, such as toilet paper, towels, tea/ coffee etc, you will be forced to hunt down the staff and demand that they get them immidiatly as they will never arrive! 

All the flats are extremely poorly cleaned. On arrival, myself and a few other colleagues in other rooms found much to our disgust that there were several used condoms under the bed and ontop of the wardrobe! 

Even when the rooms are cleaned here, which has happened only a couple of times since arriving, the standard is poor and the staff will linger until you tip them. The showers are a mere dribble of water and have been reported but not addressed, and the majority of the rooms have a horrible musty odour. I have also had to kill three cockroaches so far in my room! 

All of these problems have been reported to the"manager" who shows absolutly no interest in the satisfation of his customers. We were promised a hot plate to cook out food on and even though my company had called up numerous times to request this again, he still made it clear that has no intentions in supplying one and comes up with numerous exuses which he repeats frustratingly. 

In fact his clear and main motive is to get as much money as possible and spend as little as possible, which is evident in the quality of this hotel. My company is paying thousands for the staff to be here and the manager wont part with the small ammount of cash to satisfy our requests. He told me to get my company to contact him to ask on our behalf, and he would provide cooking and washing facilities, my company has contacted him twice now and his new exuse is that other hotels in the area dont provide these basic items, which i know for a fact to be a lie. 

This is the only hotel in the area with enough vacancies (not surprisingly) to accomadate our amount of staff for this contracted work, so we dont have a lot of other options unfortunately. The only other occupiers of rooms here seem to be seedy local men bringing prostitutes through the halls, and people looking to take advantage of the "massage" parlour run out of the first floor, which offers sexual favours as a standard service. 

The wifi is also a joke and sustaining a decent skype conversation home requires you to stand in the hall for the rest of the rooms to hear your conversation through the paper thin walls. 

My advice would be to avoid at all costs. The manager and the staff have no interest in your satisfaction or comfort, combine that with the awful location, you can rest assured that you wont be leaving with a smile on your face.

Dreadful Hotel

I think this place is the most noisy place 9 the planet .. u hear noise from everywhere !! The was next to us was extremely noisy and couldn't sleep or a rest for a minute u can hear what they are saying in other rooms, also the AC was making sound + refrigerator .. I have called reception but they didn't do anything 👎 I'm writing this review at 5 AM coz can't sleep of this disaster hotel

Terrible Horrible

Firstly, Concord Residence is not a holiday hotel with pools, bars and restaurants. We used only public beaches during our stay as our trip to RAS was more alternative and low cost, oriented on local restaurants and bakers shops.
Concord Residence is small and cosy hotel located on the south corner of RAK (Ras Al Khaimah). We stopped in Concord Residence on our road trip across UAE for two nights and we were satisfied as we used our room just as a place where to rest and laid our heads. There is a toilet and shower in the bathroom but do not remember anything about hairdryer. Wi-fi connection was stable and quick. Staff was friendly and helpful.
