Excellent friendly  Staff and it is a great value for money 

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Canyon view . The terrace views are amazing.  The staff is very helpful and friendly and would do everything to make your stay comfortable. Staff named Hasan speaks Hindi amazingly well and would confuse him for a Indian. Seyit is a gentelman and is great company to explore the place and drive you around. Overall a great stay in cappadocia. I may go back to see the place during winter time.

Visit to Cappadocia

I enjoyed very much staying at this hotel. The view was amazing, the terrace offered the best location for enjoying the sunset. The staff was very helpful and took care of all the details not only for our stay but also coordinating tours, hot air balloon trip, shuttle bus from and to airport, advice on restaurants etc. I have just a big thank you to say to you guys!

"Had a great time"

Cappadocia was the highlight of our Turkey tour and Hassan at Canyon view hotel made our stay more memorable. If you are travelling to Cappadocia you need to stay at this hotel. The hotel has nice views of the Gerome Canyon (which is where most of the tours and balloons rides take you) and the room gives you the feel of what it feels like when you live in caves. Stay at family room with jacuzzi and enjoy your stay. If you have not booked the tours in cappadocia, then the hotel staff (Hassan) can help you arrange all tours. I booked tours with him at reasonable price.  

If you are planning to go to Cappadocia then staying in Gerome is better. Its has good market where you can buy souvenirs (hand crafted colourful pottery is the best but pack it carefully), and excellent food outlets and restaurants. Take the ATV tour while you are in Gerome, it takes you to red valley, sunset points, etc. Though the tour operators will offer you North and South Cappadocia tours, if you must chose between the two, choose SOUTH tour. The underground city and Ilhara valley hiking are unforgettable experiences. I booked this tour with Hassan's help and it was worth it. The most important part of the tour is the Balloon ride in Cappadocia. Its a must. Choose wisely the bolloon flight companies as some of them hardly take you through 40 minutes flight. I choose Maccan and my family thoroughly enjoyed the 1hr and 10 mins ride. 

Lastly, Cappadocia people in general were simple and good. I felt more secure in Turkey (August 2016) than in London (April 2016) or France and Italy (Dec 2015). Do not cancel your plans for what you see on media.

Excellent Staff and Great Value for money

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Canyon view. The staff were excellent, extremely friendly and went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. Breakfast was delicious. The location was great, only a very short walk up from the town. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Excellent balconies for watching the balloons in the morning! 

Friendly and Helpful staff

Cappadocia is a sweet little town in turkey which offers some of the most breathtaking topographical and landscape views. The hotel provided rooms which were carved from real caves and this gave the rooms an extremely unique feel. The staff was friendly and even spoke in Hindi. We even managed to get a good deal on the hot air balloons as the owner of this hotel was a pilot. Lovely experience overall!

Great experience

We had a lovely time at Canyon View. Both Seyit and Hassan were absolutely lovely - ever ready help and oblige and give tips on what to do/ eat . Its thanks to their advice we finally managed to go for Balloon ride which had previously got cancelled due to the weather.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Made us feel at home. Breakfast was delicious! We felt very welcome!

Canyon View's best asset is the panoramic view it offers of Goreme and also their reasonable prices. Many small things could be done take advantage of the potential of the hotel's 3 wonderful balconies. The breakfast was ordinary with no variation in its offering. After eating the same thing four days in a row, we were eager to try something different.

Not bad but could be better.

The hotel is situated on a quiet street up on a hill, way above the parts of the village of Goreme that have gotten quite touristy. The views from the terraces are superb, the nearest hiking trail (the Pigeon valley) can be reached by walking only 10 minutes or so. The complimentary breakfast was quite good -- your omelet will be served in the metal skillet, still hot from the stove top. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, the shower was in a perfect condition. A pretty good stay overall.

Charming, fantastic views.

We arrived by a night coach, which arrived in Goreme in the morning at about 9. The owner picked us up at the coach station and let us checked in directly as the room is available. That was so nice! We had a long night in the coach and we need a shower desperately. Thanks! The owner, and also the pilot also provided free breakfast that morning. Indeed yummy. We booked balloon flights and green line tour from them. Great service. And it is a real cave hotel. I also love the terrace for breakfast.
