I stayed at the Merlot for a week; it was my introduction to being a tourist in Turkey and overall a great experience! My room was exceptionally clean and the front desk staff personnel were excellent. My only complaints are minor: There was no way to control the heat in my room and many times it got too warm.The bathroom continually projected an odor of backed up sewage. Not sure if the plumbing needs flushing?
