Family hotel. Very nice service. Safe and fridge in the room. Water in the room every day. Nothing was missing from the room :) Barman Mehmut was very helpful and nice as was the rest of the hotel staff including the owner. I have very fond memories of the week-long family stay :)

What an excellent hidden gem.
We arrived at this hotel after changing from the one we were in. 
A very, very warm welcome, every time you pass reception or any of the staff.
A very clean, inviting and friendly hotel, 1 minute walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. 10 minutes from the busy harbour and 5 mins away from the busy shopping, restaurants and bars in the town.
The room was lovely, everything  you need and would expect. Clean and spacious with a fridge inside to keep drinks cool. The cleaners came in everyday. 
The room was also overlooking the pool. Sunbeds were plenty with sun umbrellas if you wanted them. The bar was always open with anything you like to drink, if there wasn't, they would arrange to get it for you.
Mehmet was always running around for everyone and didn't ask for anything in return, ever. He is really great and can't do enough.
The hotel management even came around and constantly asked if everything was ok, which it always was. He even came to fix the TV as the Euro football games were on in the evening and didn't want us to miss any games if we wanted to watch them !!
The pool was tendered to everyday and was very clean. 
As an all inclusive hotel, the food was different everyday and plenty to go around and choices for everyone's palette. The chef would stand and cook fresh things at meal times, meat, fish, omelettes, pancakes etc with fresh fruit, cakes, deserts each meal time. All lovely.
For anyone that struggles with accessibility, there are only four small steps to the hotel, not a problem for anyone. 
Across the road is a small and very friendly shop and a supermarket just further up the road but you shouldn't need anything as the hotel cater for everything.
We highly recommend that you find this lovely hotel if you'd like a nice relaxing and quiet holiday.
We will definitely be coming back as soon as we can. PERFECT !

The perfect little hotel.

Very nice place for vacation. I really liked the rooms that had privacy and were clean, towels and sheets  changed regularly . The kitchen staff and the chef did an excellent job as the food was very delicious, all the staff were polite. At the evening it was very nice with the music and the dances we danced and especially the traditional Turkish dances. I have recommended it to many people and I would happily choose it again for my  holidays.

The hotel may be an option among alternatives in terms of cost assessment of benefits. Unlike its name, Salinas Beach Hotel is not a beach hotel, but it is very close to Gümbet beach. The hotel consists of several two-story detached outbuildings  the main service building and additional guest rooms. For example, imagine a Mediterranean style with blue, sand tones and white on the walls inside and outside, raw wood in the furniture, light summery materials in the textiles; but here at the entrance you are met with a dark and gloomy heavy color scale and there is an unsightly mess in the decor. From the hotel staff, especially at the reception, Ms. Ilknur was friendly and friendly in a flurry of service. It was a pity that we could not hear and see the kind bellboy who helped us with our luggage when we got to the hotel and rented the hotel right in front of the grocery store on the beach, which is about 600mt from the main service building, and introduced the hotel and the beach the next day was dismissed. If there is no valid reason, the high staff turnover damages the sense of belonging of employees, the learning of new people and the process of adaptation to the enterprise negatively affects the quality of service. As a matter of fact, the glum face of the person they started instead of did not give a positive sign that he loved his job. In addition, we had to carry all the luggage ourselves when we left the hotel. As I mentioned earlier, the hotel does not have a beachfront due to its location. after walking for about 5 minutes, you can throw a towel in the morning and reach the sun loungers, which are insufficient because they are very limited in number due to the rude people who occupy the space all day long. It is also worth noting that the floor of the area where the sun beds are located is concrete. The beach is blue-flagged, the sea is quite clear, you can swim with the fish, but the water is relatively cool. If you are going to enter in front of a contracted grocery store, the floor of the sea is not cleared of rocks and it suddenly deepens, which can be a danger. It is also not a pleasant situation if you have to greet all the stinking garbage containers in the summer heat until you land on the beach. I would also like to note that we have experienced a delay and associated hesitation at least at the point of pre-collection with a non-institutional approach to the booking process. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that there was no need to worry about the sincerity of the family business. We sent our request to the hotel together with the online form to arrange our room with a sea or pool view if possible during the reservation we made months ago, but it was a disappointment that it was not taken into account. Like most rooms, our view was zero, of course, the concrete wall opposite you immediately narrows your interior when you go out to the balcony, but the hotel also has no promise to offer a view to everyone. The fact that your room is a family suite may be the right choice in terms of spaciousness. We have not been able to make much use of the internet due to the limited wifi signal or service capacity. I would like to add that there is no private parking space for your car. The room was cleaned only once or twice during our seven-day stay. The bathroom is narrow, but functional, but housekeeping is about to end, shampoo, shower gel and toilet paper have even spared the renovation. But Jul, let me point out that you can get them according to your request. The pool was clean-looking, but it was small and crowded. Jul. And the children's pool was really meager. We didn't care, we used the sea because it was of good quality and we had hygiene reservations. Although we think that there is something delicious and appealing to everyone's taste when it comes to food, the main dishes remained slightly below average in the repetitive menu planning. Although the hotel has an all inclusive concept, no veal was given during our seven-day stay. Fish (mackerel) was served only once. The dishes are prepared with poultry meat, but the ones cooked with turkey have always tasted unpleasant, we couldn't eat it. It was certainly not acceptable to offer only watermelons and some melons even in the summer season, when there is plenty of fruit in the hotel. We couldn't even reach the melon most of the time because the guests were worried that maybe they wouldn't stay and almost attacked what happened with the opening of the restaurant. Sometimes we didn't even find a table to sit at for a while. And the desserts were almost identical to each other. Drinks and cocktails were very weak. The bar part needs urgent revision in the context of both quality and quantity. As for entertainment, there is no water slide or playground for children, or any activities such as an animator, etc. For adults, a short-term amateur juggling or juggling show, whatever you want to call it, was held for adults one evening. It's inconvenient for us, although families don't really prefer it, but for those who go to night clubs, bars and have fun, the location of the hotel provides convenience. As a final word, although the hotel's location and the sea are great, there are points where it stays in the classroom and service areas that should improve its quality. It may be possible to stay again if the deficiencies are completed by evaluating the positive aspect in the context of Hulasaten family friendliness and price performance.

Salinas Needs to be Improved

Our family (3 adults and one 7 y.o. kid) had a great vacation in Turkey in July 2021.  We stayed in Salinas Beach Hotel for 8 days in a family room (#302). Everything was much better than expected  to be honest. 
Hotel is very cute, family run - a lot of greenery, stylish small houses with balconies (2nd floor or terraces on a 1st), comfortable lobby area, big nice pool. Very clean - room, pool, hotel area, towels, linen, cutlery... Nice views.  Great location - sea 1 min walk, bus stop for Bodrum 3 min, supermarkets 3 min, main street of Gumbet 10 min etc. Never seen a line in a buffet, or been a short of sun chairs by the pool or on hotel beach - even we were staying during the Kurban Bayramy Holiday. We enjoyed food - especially  sweets, cheeses and salads! Good selection.  
We love a very friendly atmosphere there - guests of different ages from different countries, different cultures.  You will make friends!!!  
Staff and management are fantastic!  Sweet and kind people, who truly wants to help you, to  make your holiday great!  You will be heard and understood - i met hotel staff who speaks English and Russian... 
Wifi (free) covers all areas and small free library by the reception.
We happy we discovered Salinas.

P.S.  Forgot to mention,  that unfortunately it is a smoking place.  We are non smokers and always could find a table or sun chair "smoke free".

Great choice for vacation

We've just returned from the vacation where we stayed at the Salinas Beach Hotel, family room (July 2021). This is the typical 3* hotel (several buildings of the villa type) with its disadvantages, but you know what you choose before you come to the place. The hotel is not new but it looked like it went through the renovation. The pool was clean, the sunbeds were always enough for the guests. The room was cleaned and linen and towels were changed every 2nd day. The meal was ordinary but we were not hungry. The staff is probably the best team that I've ever met in my trips.

Amazing!!!

In my opinion, this is not a Hotel. It is in disgraceful, poor, run down condition and as a result, was merely an unenjoyable place for us to leave our bags in and stay out all day until coming home as late as possible so as to not have to spend any time there.

My wife and I arrived for a 6 night stay. We were greeted by friendly staff and taken to our room (room 308 for the record). Where do i even start? Ill start with the:

Bathroom - Cracked and peeling walls, soap scum all over the shower and shower screens, dirty rotten mould all over the tap fittings and toilet paper holder.

Room - just big enough to fit the bed, luggage can find a home outside somewhere. Cracked, peeling and filthy walls with at least 10 - 20 squashed mosquitoes all over the walls and ceilings, blood stains on walls from squashed mosquitoes, shoe prints on ceiling from somebody having a good old time killing them all with their shoe.

We obviously complained about the state of the place and demanded a refund or room change. There's no way we were staying in that dump. We were eventually upgraded to a larger, nicer room (in comparison to the 3rd world room we had just encountered), although it came with a set of problems too (all mainly to do with the bathroom). It had a constant sewerage smell coming from the drain or toilet, and the shower was unenjoyable - Ive had better showers standing outside in sprinkling rain. 

Beware of the meals there too - most of it is just basic fried crap, but if you get adventurous and decide to try other menu items - Ive been on the toilet all week and haven't really had to strain put it that way. 

I would rate this hotel about a 1.5/10. Luckily the staff were extremely friendly and happy to help. The place needs a lot of time and money put into it to get it back up to spec if they want to survive.

***DONT DO IT*** (friendly but nasty)

Was staying at this hotel about 2 weeks ago and enjoyed it soo much..Everything was really nice: good location, friendly staff, small but clean rooms, delicious food...after coming back to Ukraine have a kind of nostalgia(( hope to come back again there..just have a piece of advice for vacationers - not to use service of hotel guide Larisa (for Russian speakers), coz its too much expensive and not organized at all!!! ask people at reception and they will provide you with all the neccessary information, you"ll save your time and money..I"ve never bought trips from the hotel guides but this time wanted everything to be arranged in advance...but opps..it wasnt..So wish everyone have a nice time at Salinas Hotel!!! and thanks a lot again!!!!))))

Great location and fantastic staff, made me feel like part of there family especially on my last day, made some great lasting friends and for that is why I gave 5*****
