Dili Homestay

This is a homestay in a developing country where accommodation costs tend toward the high end. That said, I had a perfectly lovely and comfortable stay here. Coffee was served every morning, along with a light breakfast. You're largely left to your own devices so if you require a lot of hand-holding this may not be the place for you, but when asked the host was quite helpful with suggestions for daytrips and how to make them happen. The location is also good (though note that it can be a tad difficult to find without Google maps or the help of a neighborhood child), a short walk from the coast, restaurants (local and more tourist-friendly), and Timor Plaza, where you can get a SIM card and great local dishes.
