Do not let the name mislead you the “resort” which is a motel and not on the beach although it is not far away. The place has 11 rooms and 2 family buildings which surround a car park and all views are of the car park. I would like to highlight the positive features which include a generous sized fridge along with great Wi-Fi and everything else electrical worked, there is a reason why I say this! On check in it went quite well after waiting 15 minutes for someone to arrive as there was nobody what so ever in the “resort”.  I made a big mistake and paid up front for 5 nights and as it was low season the rates were 1200 Bath per weekday and 1450 Baht for weekends. The rooms have the minimum which include a wardrobe, fridge, small table and 2 stools, a bed with 1 tiny bedside table and a phone with of course a TV with a lot of Thai channels. The bathroom is ridiculous with no where to put any items i.e. a sink with no rim, a shower with no curtain and a toilet, if you have a toilet bag or any toiletries there is no where to put them! The bed was fine as I like hard mattresses and this one will last a life time! If you sleep on the wrong side there is no space to walk however you can crawl up into bed. Our room was booked through a booking agent and they knew we would be arriving but whenever the receptionist “Owner” showed us to the room there was no bed linen. He corrected this and we received the linen which amounted to 2 very large towels which apparently should be used as covers and 2 normal towels. There were pillowcases but no duvet covers so we spent 5 nights with a duvet which had no cover and the pillowcases were never changed…sorry but unacceptable! The restaurant which is apparently used when it is busy has a lady who appeared from time to time and serves breakfast or doubles as a room cleaner. When we asked for someone to clean the room she made excuses about us having items on the floor, well there was nowhere else to put the items so she came back and changed the towels and nothing else, I guess that was the linen change! The second day the “linen” was changed and the room brushed but the bins were not emptied which we had to do and the service did not improve, we had to repeatedly ask for the room to be cleaned or do it ourselves! Breakfast was served to our room every morning, which was cold and the so called sausage was of a higher quality than most plastic sausages, it was indeed edible which I will say for the other item which would remind you to some degree of ham or spam but it really had no taste, I still have no idea what it was but we were treated to bacon 2 mornings and it was tasty, well the slice was tasty which I must admit I was tremendously impressed with because I was unaware both bacon and look alike ham could be sliced so thinly…we learn something new every day! The umpteen times we have went to reception only to find it empty is incomprehensible and I know it is low season but after reading a review from a previous customer I felt greatly let down, I never saw the smiley, helpful staff !!!!! There was rarely any staff there at my time of visiting and management should be aware that with the help of media such as Tripadvisor and others that people will learn quickly about levels of service and the repercussion of those lacking in it! There are many things which I was not happy about but I have decided that enough is enough but I will give a hint to the management, if you provide a kettle then it is a good idea to provide a receptacle such as a cup to put the hot water in, then a spoon is also a good idea but please think of the other things such as coffee or tea! My experience at this motel was unfortunately not a pleasant one.

The Ghost Motel.

Amazing place. Service offered with a smile to die for. Nice place very quiet away from all the hustle n bustle. Offers a beautiful secluded beach as well. Staff are super friendly. This place was recommended to me. And I thank the person your recommendation was superb.
