Bentley Park Suites

Location: I stayed in this hotel from 18/11/13 to 24/11/13. The hotel is located near Yuan Shan Station, 4 stations away from Taipei Main Station. It take roughly about 5 - 10 minutes to walk from Yuan Shan Station to the hotel. If you prefer to stay slightly away from the busy Taipei Main Station or Ximen Station, this will be a good hotel to stay as,it is only 1 stop away from Jiantan Station which is where the famous Shilin Night Market is located, 9 stops away from Xinbeitou Station where the hot springs are located and lastly 14 stops away from (Danshui) Tamsui Station. Below the hotel is a 4 way traffic junction but when the window is shut I actually find that it is not too noisy. Amenities: Right beside Yuan Shan Station is the Taipei Expo park, if you have time you can take a walk there to see all the beautiful plants and flowers. There is also an eatery located within the Expo Park. Crossing over the bridge you will also find a store selling stuff made or produced by the Taiwan's aboriginal. It is quite a nice place for you to take photographs around the area. Located nearby Yuan Shan Station you will be able to find a numbers of eateries and 24 hours convenience stores. Hotel: The hotel is quite safe as there is a security guard stationed on the first floor. The lobby of the hotel is on the 5th floor. (Staff stationed at lobby only worked from 7am to 10pm). On our first day we arrived around 0830am and we showed him our hotel voucher and he directed us to the lift and help us to access to 5th floor. All hotel guests are given a key with additional security tag to enter the hotel and your designated hotel floor level. The staff attended to us was very courteous and nice, she showed us where to put our luggage bags (so we can walk around before checking in) and allowed us to check-in earlier at 1300hrs (usual check-in at 3pm) as they had more rooms available that day. When we came back to the hotel for check-in at about 1340hrs she informed us that our luggage bags had been brought up to our room and she even brought us up personally all the way to our room to show us how to use the key and security tag. The checkout on our last day was also very fast. The hotel had stove available so if you need to cook you could and I loved that they had a washing machine with dryer function (washing soap powder was provided) right outside the balcony so you could wash your clothes. The bathroom was also clean and came with good air/heat control. They however do NOT provide you with free toothpaste/toothbrush/comb due to their eco-friendly policy, but they do provide you with a big bottle of shower foam, shampoo, hand soap. Daily housekeeping is available.
