I honestly expect worse due to the reviews however I must say that Fun House exceeded my expectation. Room just needs renovation. Froggy (one of the owners) was very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent, right smack in the middle of Ximending. I would definitely stay at Fun House again.

Good Value for Money

ห้องที่พักเป็น 3 คน เราพักที่ตึกที่เป็นที่เช็คอินเลย(บางคนอาจได้ห้องที่ต้องเดินไปอีกตึกนึง) เราขอให้เค้าแยกเป็นเตียงเดี่ยว 3 เตียง ให้ ห้องก็กว้างประมาณนึงไม่ได้รู้สึกอึดอัดอะไร, ห้องน้ำกว้าง แต่ไม่มีสายฉีดนะคะ บนชั้นที่พัก ทางเดินเข้าห้องค่อนข้างแคบเดินได้ทีละคน แต่ไม่แย่นะ ในห้องพัก มีผ้าขนหนูผื่นใหญ่ ไม่มีผืนเล็ก, แชมพู, ครีมอาบน้ำ, ไดร์, กาต้มน้ำ, ทีวี นอกเหนือจากนั้นจะใช้เตรียมไปเองนะคะ ที่พักสะดวกมากกกกกก ลงก็เจอร้านข้าวที่เป็น Local food ตรงข้ามเป็นร้านกาแฟ local เดินออกมา 20 เมตรเจอเซเว่น และ ถนนคนเดิน Ximen ช๊อปปิ้งได้เลย ทางเข้าอาจจะดูเล็กๆ เหมือนน่ากลัวแต่จริงๆ แล้วไม่น่ากลัวเลย
 
การเดินทาง  ออก ximen ประตู 6 ให้เดินทางตามถนนเส้นช๊อปปิ้ง ถึงแยกที่มี The Face Shop ให้เลี้ยวขวาไปทางยูนิโคล่ เดินตรงไปจนเจอ 4แยก ที่มีร้านไก่ Hot Star (ป้ายสีฟ้า) เลี้ยวซ้าย จะเจอเซเว่นอยู่ขวามือ ติดเซเว่นจะเป็นซอยเล็กๆ ให้เดินเข้าไปเลยประมาณ 20 เมตร Fun House/Minbox อยู่ขวามือ ถ้าไปเช้ามากๆ อาจจะไม่พนักงานเปิดประตูให้ ไปนั่งกินกาแฟรอก่อน ถ้าประมาณ 10 พนักงานมาแล้ว เอากระเป๋าไปฝากได้  เวลาฝากกระเป๋าเค้าจะให้เราเอาไปวางไว้ตรงไหนก็ได้ของล๊อบบี้ก็วางๆ ไปคะ ไม่หาย ตอนฝากวันกลับก็เหมือนกัน

แม่บ้านทำความสะอาดห้องไม่ทุกวัน ของเราทำบ้างไม่ทำบ้าง แต่เราไม่ได้ซีเรียสอะไร, การเข้าที่พักต้องใช้การ์ดเปิดประตูทางเข้าตรง Lobby และ กุญแจเข้าห้องพัก เราพัก 3 คนให้การ์ดแค่ 1 ใบเลยลำบากนิดหน่อยเวลาเข้าออกที่พัก ถ้าไม่มีการ์ดต้องให้พนักงานเปิดประตูให้ ซึ่ง พนักงานไม่ค่อยอยู่เคาเตอร์ หรือ อยู่ก็จะอยู่ถึงตี 1 หลังจากนั้นต้องโทร(ไลน์) ให้เพื่อนลงมาเปิดให้ แต่ถ้ากลับห้องพักไม่ดึกไม่มีปัญหา กระดาษทิชชู่ถ้าหมดให้เดินออกมาแถวๆลิฟท์ แม่บ้านวางเอาไว้เป็นลังหยิบไปใช้ได้ แต่ถ้าหยิบกลับกรุงเทพ 555
 
ไวไฟมีแต่เหมือนไม่มี อย่าหวังพึ่งคะ ควรเตรียมตัวไปเอง ซื้อซิม Ais Sim2Fly 399 บาท ใช้ได้ดีเหมือนกัน  ราคาถูก ไป 6 วันเหลือๆ (ถ้าไม่ดูหนังเป็นเรื่องๆ สบายมาก) แต่ถ้าอยากได้แบบ อันลิมิต ซื้อ Sim ที่สนามบิน 

เช็คอินได้ 16.00 น.นะคะ เช็คเอ้าท์ ถึงเที่ยง 

ขออภัย เราไมไ่ด้ถ่ายรูปอะไรไว้เลย เพราะตอนไปถึงคือง่วงมากนอนเลย พอหลังจากนั้นสภาพห้องก็ไม่น่าดูแล้ว เลยไม่ได้ถ่ายรูปไว้เลย

คุ้มค่า ไปพักอีกแน่นอน

The room was spacious for 4 of us, as we paid for the larger room. The location is away from the crowded Ximending and near good food places. We knew it was about 5mins away from the check in place. But it was about 10mins walk from Ximending station. The room had broken floor parts, which were dangerous for kids. Basic room with fridge and amenities provided. 

Disturbed as 1 day, someone entered our room and shifted the table we used to cover the broken floor. It couldn't be the cleaner but nothing was missing. 

We were not informed that we had to pay in cash, however they managed to arrange for us to charge to our credit card. The boy who helped us check in was kind and helpful to text the new address to our Taipei driver.

My friend and I decided to reserve this hotel against the many choices available and were utterly disappointed. 

First, it was the location of the hotel (based on the address stated). When we finally found the hotel and wanted to check in, we were being told that we were being assigned to another property which was "really nearby". 

With one luggage each and a backpack plus bags, Adam (the hotel receptionist) walked far ahead of us while bringing us to another property and only casually offered to carry our luggage when we were just a street away.

While we thought that it would be it, we were in for more surprises; in a bad way, unfortunately.

Firstly, there were dead flies in the toilet bowl. After a tiring day and wanting to turn in to rest for the day, to our dismay, the bed are as hard as stones (no joke). Went out pretty early the next day and when we were back for the day, we were shocked. What they meant by cleaning the room were simply to clear the rubbish. We clearly are able to do it ourselves if so. Here comes the disgusting thing- we requested for a floor mat and were told nonchalantly that we can use our bath towels as bath mats since they will send for thorough wash. EXCUSE ME? 

Being in Taipei for countdown to 2018, we were back in the wee hours and received a "good morning" by the HSKP at around 1030hrs - we only managed to sleep at 0600hrs. After requesting her to come back for make up of room at noon, her face changed and started informing us that she has a lot of rooms on the 1st of Jan and asked us to faster head back to sleep while she "just throw the rubbish".

That aside, on the day of check out, I asked Adam if we could leave our luggage there, he said this: "Oh, from today onwards, there are no such service" and started informing us of the additional charges we need to pay if we were 1 min late. 200NT to the HSKP who did not clean our room? Of course we were not willing. 

It was only after me voicing out that this is ridiculous that he went to make some arrangements for us to keep our luggage.

We were both very disappointed of the service and the cleanliness of the so called hotel. Will definitely not go back again.

Simply disgusted

this says fun house located at 西门町 is a dirty，honted,  horrible,  terrible experience for me..  The price is not cheap to stay here, and not worth it..  All the traveller,  fun waste your time. Services is very bad... See the below photo the pillow I have to sleep on it for three nights?  It's very unhygienic.... Please remember my advice..  Banded this one.
