New, modern, clean, well furnished, very good service from ESR staff and conveniently located for shopping at Global Mall next-door which has many shops including a good supermarket and a Starbucks. However, if you are new to Taipei be warned - New Taipei City is very much a suburb. There is very little in the area. You will need to take a thirty minute taxi ride or walk to the MRT (~25 minutes) before taking the train into central Taipei. Therefore not a good place to stay if you are thinking of sight-seeing or hoping to go to bars or restaurants. If, on the other hand, you are looking for somewhere very reasonably priced for the facilities provided, with a gym, swimming pool, two pool tables, table tennis, a recreation/socialising area, etc. and the area works for you, then I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
