16 reviewsFirst, If you do not have to be in Hualien for any pressing matter, do not go. But if you go, stay at this place. The biggest asset is the owner, a friendly, accommodating, helpful lady. The house is big, it is in a quite lane behind a busy, dirty street, but the house is very very clean and nice, the room is better than many hotel rooms, clean, new, everything you can need, provided, with even a little mini fridge, in brief, all accessories you would expect in a better hotel room, including great bathroom. The breakfast I got was made with care and dedication on the second days even bought in for me. The owner drove me to 2 appointments and back to the station on my return. The aircon was perfect, it was quite at night, perfect. It was a first for me, this bed and breakfast experience , and , I probably will still avoid to have any, if I do not need too, but certainly, the lady of this house, made me feel at home. At Hualien, there is no better place to stay, including hotels. I recommend it full heartedly.
