397 reviewsBefore our big Sri Lanka trip we had been told to go to Kulu and so we did and it was brilliant fun. The setting is amazing, the staff are great, the food is tasty and loads of it and our guide, Sudesh, has eagle eyes and we saw loads of things - head to block 5 ( they will know what you mean) where we saw the big 5 - leopards , elephants , crocs, black bear and water buffalo plus owls, jackals , hornbills, tons of bird life, deer. It was magical - we have never even considered doing anything safari ‘ish but we loved it. The afternoon trip was busy with other lazy people in jeeps who couldn’t be bothered getting up early but the dawn trip was well worth the 5am start. If you have kids just insist on them getting up … the place was deserted and we had the animals to ourselves. Huge thanks to everyone at Kulu.
