The room was very clean and toilet maintaines in hygienic condition the caretaker was very friendly.it is very near to the Buddha temple Kandy city center Mall , kfc, pizza hut all are within walking distance from the hotel.security of the hotel is also very high with many cctv camera

Its a small family run homestay located in the Kandy Lake front. Have a super view of the Kandy lake and temple of tooth. Its walking distance. from temple of tooth. It is located in the heart of Kandy city so easy access to tourist attraction. Walking distance to Kandy railway station and public transport. Walking distance to Kandy City Center (shopping) restaurants and bar in Kandy town. Large bed rooms with balcony. Clean. Had some home made Sri Lankan dishes in the morning.

The owner is really friendly. Gives you the feeling like it is your own house. Simple, but very comfortable and clean place. Excellent location near city and Kandy lake. Excellent service. Highly recommend this place.

Come like a guest, leave like a friends

Pranoba is right next to Kandy lake and a few hundred mtrs from Kandy market and Sacred Tooth Relic Temple. We had a comfortable stay and the friendly hosts took good care of us.Rooms were large and clean. The lake and temple view from the room was amazing.

Lake view homestay

The owner of the hotel is very friendly and helped us with everything. The location is perfect, 5 mins walk from the centre, but also quiet and calm. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. Also the owner has an adorable little kid who we really enjoyed speaking with :)

Very friendly owner, and comfortable room! 

We were welcomed and cosseted by the lovely manager and cook, Siria, for a 3 night stay. The family owned homestay has a cozy sitting area where we could visit with other guests and have a “milky tea” break. The second floor has a TV and sofa area and breakfast tables overlooking the lake. Siria cooked us delicious breakfasts with special Sri Lankan treats every day. Our air conditioned room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Downtown was within easy walking distance and tuk-tuks always available for longer trips, (e.g. palace, Botanical Garden).

Kandy Homestay By the Lake

The location is fabulous.From the lobby  you can see the lake and it takes 5 mins to walk down to the city centre. Breakfast was great and truly unlimited.We loved the Srilankan pol roti .The two negative points are (i)the steep staircase leading to the lobby,rooms and restaurant. and (ii)the noisy water canal behind the property.the owners and staff are all very hospitable.

In a perfect location with great views across the lake. The lady looking after us was attentive and caring, and makes a great breakfast too! The best coconut sambal we had in Sri Lanka. 
Just a short easy stroll away from the Main Street and to the peace of our room.

The room was ok but there was a problem with check in; the owner hadn't received our booking through hotels.com and we had to pay extra having failed to resolve via a v expensive long distance phone call with hotels.com. It rather marred the experience.

Reservation difficulties at check in

Immaculately clean and spacious room with a calming view of Kandy lake. Strategically located near the bustling city but quiet and peaceful for you to experience the calm. If you are in Kandy you must stay here !!
