Amazing place to stay. Felt really clean, welcoming and location was perfect. Sad we only stayed for 1 night, would have loved to stay longer. The train is nearby  but it was not noisy at all. The hosts were also very friendly and helpful! Thank you

The best stay in Sri Lanka! It was such a pleasure to meet this lovley family. I felt very comfortable. It feels like to be a part of a family and not to be a guest. They looked so good to me when i was sick. The plan was to stay 6 nights but at the end i could not leave this great place yet and so i was 9 nights here. I slept in the budget and in the double room, both rooms offer a large space and a pleasant atmosphere.
I would definitely come back. Thank you very much to have made my stay in Hikkaduwa unforgettable.


Best stay in Sri Lanka! 

We stayed at the Sweden inn guesthouse for a week whilst visiting hikkaduwa! It’s owned by a lovely welcoming family who are very accommodating! The rooms were amazing for the price! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone to stay here!

Everything you could ask for

The guesthouse is kept by a wonderful family. I took the big room and was very satisfied. Everything is in good condition, everything works, there are no bad odors, everything is clean and neat. There is no noise in the area, except for the railroad, but the trains run very rarely and it does not bring discomfort.

Overall I recommend this guesthouse, and definitely room number 8

I will ill definitely come back again!

Very good experience with wonderful family 

This was my family's 6th time staying at Sweden Inn Guesthouse. We absolutely love staying there. Chandani and her family (the owners) are the most sweet and caring family and always take amazing care of us. Everything is very comfortable and spotlessly clean and they will help you with anything at all that you need. We couldn't recommend it more.  

Best place to stay!!

I stayed at the guesthouse for a week and I can say that the owners are more than hospitable and helpful. The room was tidy, clean, and comfortable. All the necessities were there including a safe. The place itself is conveniently located near the beach, shops, and restaurants. Yet it’s tranquil, quiet, and peaceful. I especially enjoyed the hospitality, little chats, patio with a view, and occasional harmless animals like squirrels, monkey (once), and birds. But no or not much of mosquitos. I was on the second floor. Highly recommended.

Great stay

Stayed here solo for 2 nights in December 2022. And what a lovely place! It's almost on the main road, and only a 2-3 mins walk to the beach. Tharindu and their family were great hosts, always greeting me with a smile and helping me out with anything I needed. I stayed on the ground floor but I highly recommend spending a little extra and getting the room on the first floor because that one comes with a balcony.
I had a great time on the whole, and will definitely revisit!

Best place to stay in Hikkaduwa!

Amazing guest house, in a perfect location, right on the surfing beach. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Definitely one of the best places in Hikkaduwa. I highly recommend ....

Best place in Hikkaduwa

The best thing in this guest house is warm welcome by the owner (mom) and her family.
She is always supportive and friendly and try to make us feel at home. (She sometime gave me  fruits and some homemade snacks, and they were sooo delicious...!) Room is very clean, cozy and cute. The room has fridge and security box in addition to basic equipment. Plus, beach is super near, just around 1 min waling distance, so it was great for me because my main purpose of this trip was surfing. I'm sure I will come back to this guest house:)

Cozy, clean, warm welcome

We stayed with our family for 2 nights at Swedin Inn Guesthouse. The host gave us a really warm welcome with a fresh coconut and bananas. The rooms are big and clean. In the rooms is also a fridge available. Near by the guesthouse there are multiple restaurants. We had really good food at Neela's. You just have to cross the street for this restaurant. Also you can use their sunbeds at the beach. We highly recommend Swedin Inn Guesthouse. Thanks for the stay!
