We only stayed for one night on our last night in Sri Lanka, location was good, close to beach, easy walking distance to train or bus stops. Main road has shops and food out lets and was close by. The place it's self may not look pretty and could do with some paint and a tidy up but staff are friendly and the place is comfortable, there is a nice common area with an out door deck with chairs and tables and even a shared fridge/freezer. Not the best value for money place we stayed in on our 2 week trip but overall pretty good.

Not bad

The location of this quiet guest house is great, just off the main Colombo to Galle road and a 10 minute walk to the beach. We were given a warm welcome and a small temporary room to use while our booked room was ready. This was greatly appreciated as we had arrived early morning. The room we were allocated was on the first floor, quite large and with a good sized bathroom. 
The bed was firm, fan worked well but the shower door looked like it had not been cleaned for quite a while. (this was the only negative with this property). Breakfast was served on a large terrace and you could watch the chipmunks and birds feeding in the trees. The breakfasts were simple but varied and filling. 
The hosts spoke good English and were helpful.

Good budget guest house in a great location.

We stayed at the Golden Bridge for 3 nights and was quite adequate for what we needed. It is a clean and friendly budget guest house with a private bathroom and mozzie net, although the mozzie net smelt of dust I would rather this than be eaten alive by mosquitoes! 
It is very close to the beach and plenty of restaurants and local eateries to choose from. 
The people running the golden bridge are very warm and friendly and I would recommend for a few days stay here! 

Just what you need 

That s the place u all need to visit,
Is in a very good location, not far away from the beach, same time in a very quiet location.Good for family stay.
Is actually a family run hotel,extreemely freiendy.
 I recommend.

Feeling of home

Had a great stay for one night, basic room but clean and tidy ,owners very nice good location to beach, would go back for a short stay. Also close to shops and ratamalana airport ,as we had a early morning flight , owners kindly booked us a taxi and was there to greet us at 5.15 in the morning
