Our second visit and it didn't disapoint. Simply perfect stay. After a long journey across Spain we just needed somewhere to relax - Ana and her family provided this .  The facilities for our dog were perfect too. We will be back . 

A Perfect Place to Rest Before the Ferry.

Stayed here for one night before catching the ferry home. Absolutely charming renovated Posada that we loved. It is a little remote, but that just adds to the appeal. The evening meal we had was lovely, as was the breakfast. The owners are very nice people and we will certainly stay here again.

Charming hotel

Lovely old posada building beautifully furnished, very comfy beds, wifi , barista coffee available, great stopping point between Santander and Santiliana, would recommend for the old worldly feel of the place ! dinner wasn't great though he dining room is fab and for the area of mogro it's the best you ll get ! 

One night on the camino

We enjoyed our stay at here. It is away from the madding crowd but close enough, if you have wheels, to Santander and some lovely beaches. My only gripe is that the wall that separated our room from the next was paper thin and the couple in the next room were very fond of each other during the night. Twice as I recall. And they tried to use the telly to mask the sound of the fondness - the Spanish equivalent of an Ealing Comedy - which was a bit annoying. ¡Viva el Amor! as far as I'm concerned but more restraint and less cathode ray tube and we all win.

The owners are friendly people and the Gin & Tonics wonderful. We didn't try the restaurant bit it was popular and had a very enticing and classy menu.

Rural but not Remote

Everything was great!!  Very good  location for a pilgrim. Exelent 5 cours meal in the restaurant. The rooms are beautiful, and the buildings old and nicely restored. Charming location, outside the center of the city Mogro.

Posada luxery!!!

Good place to run away from city stress and noise. 
Very good location, surrounded by green hills, on the outskirts of the village. Away from mass tourism and still pretty close to beautiful beaches and places to visit.
It is an old building (XVII century), nicely restored and refubirshed, keeping the original walls and gates. The rooms are comfortable, rustic design, and are cleaned every day.
The restaurant is good enough. Every morning we had our breakfast here; it wasn't included in our rate, but it is less than 3 euros per person. Enjoyed a couple of dinners too, though we liked to eat out; wherever you go in this part of Spain you get good food and it's not too expensive. 
Very friendly staff. The hotel is small and run by a family, so you can count with personal attention for anything.
It is a bit difficult to find the place for the first time, though we took into consideration the warnings of other visitors and didn't have a problem.
Great price/quality relationship. We'll definitely come back.
