This is the former Capri by Fraser Barcelona, recently bought by Naitly. There were 4 of us and we rented two 1-bedroom apts for 5 days. We really enjoyed the spacious, clean & attractive accommodations which include kitchenettes. Cleaning is once every 3 days but housekeeping will provide towels if requested. The beach, Sagrada Familia, and the Arc de Triomf are all within walking distance (20-30 mins). The Marina metro stop is a 6 minute walk. It is a safe, quiet area with little to no outside street noise at night. Staff is helpful and friendly. Free laundry, a nice gym (for a hotel) & a kids’ playroom are all in the basement, and there’s a solarium deck on the 6th floor. The rooms are a great value for what you get. Breakfast is good but a little pricey for the offerings at 16.50 euros/ person. There’s a Condi’s grocery/ convenience store around the corner. Things to be aware of: the mattresses are overly firm. Walls are thin and we experienced a lot of noise at night from a children’s sports team next to our rooms (just bad luck). There was a strong sewage smell coming from one of our bathrooms (bathroom in our 2nd room was fine). When we brought it to the attention of staff, they sent maintenance in to remedy it. While it did greatly improve the smell, it didn’t erase it. Other than these minor issues we really enjoyed our stay and would be thrilled to stay there again.
