Stayed here overnight last minute.  Cheap accommodation with breakfast included.  Stayed in the Wagtail room.  WIFI never worked, no hair dryer in the room, no face cloths.  The bed linen was stained, shower door broken and shower a bit moldy.  Hot breakfast served on cold plates was not very good.  Small things that can make a huge difference, but we did not expect too much.

You get what you pay for

At arrival it was not possible to make payment due to the bad signal. Locking the room, Dove, weren't always easy and unlocking the door to the outside also a challenge. The roof light outside dove, not working. The curtains in dove could not draw close.
Breakfast was served with no option to me, omelet, but the next guest hat the option from a menu. I pointed out that I might be eating her omelet and were told that, that was the breakfast. My omelet was served with the gentleman's thumb actually touching the omelet. I asked if I could choose the following morning what to eat and were assured that I could.

After 08:00 my aircon were switched of from a distribution box in the passage. It was a very hot day in Pretoria.

One of the ladies convinced me to go for a massage and I went to the front desk to made the appointment. The lady who helped me, Christa, made me feel like a right pervert in instructing me to make sure to wear the PT-shorts that they will supply and I must wear underpants as well. The way she instructed was not received well.

The next morning the omelet again was not an option and also not the coffee that they supplied. the previous morning, I had the option of coffee or juice.This time the omelet was brought to the table on a tray.
It is highly unlikely that I will ever again visit again.

The most amazing spa! The therapists are so friendly and humble and the treatments is devine. Melissa and her team is professional and friendly. I absolutely endorse Ikutsa. My home away from home....

A nvery tranquil venue, nice food, friendly people and a great therapist.
Enjoyed the fact that one therapist was responsible for all the treatments and that it happened in one room.
A Women's Day well spent.

I would recommend this place maybe for a cheep nights accommodation ,but definitely not for any spa treatment or dinning requirements. Four star rating is outrageous. We were so disappointed with our stay at Ikhutsa spa (mountain Manor).

Never 4 star!

Their place is quite far out (for a city area) and goes off-road for about two to five minutes. This may seem a bit disappointing until you hear the birds singing and the absence of city noise. Go for packages as they have a lovely set of treatments at an affordable price. Their treatments are extremely relaxing and will oust your stress out, feeling pampered. The therapists are well-trained.Their homemade iced tea delicious- please try it!
I don't know about the accommodations but the reviews I've read have various comments (good to bad).
