Tranquil lodge outside the Kruger with bush hospitality overlooking the Kruger.  Lodge located close to Phalaborwa gate outside town to ensure a continuous bush experience.
Elephant,  Impala, and various small animals and birds can be seen on the farm. 
Rooms are clean, toiletries provided, and breakfast served in the morning.  
Kitchen and braai facilities available for use if you don't want to visit one of the restaurants in town.
Lovely pool overlooking the bush and close to the waterhole for animals.  
Boma to admire the night skies that get lost in the cities. 
A must when visiting Phalaborwa,  very private and intimate gem. 


Tranquil Phalaborwa Gem

Beautifully location, the place is serene and quiet...  Quite an experience ! A good place to be before entering the Park! We would definetly come back. I higly recommend to go there. An idéal retreat away from the hustle and bustle of towns

Amazing

The entire staff was very friendly right from the time of making the reservations. They stayed up late (11 pm) to open the gate for us and were back up early in the morning to make breakfast! We had a nice chat with the owner as well. We wish we could have gotten there earlier and spent more time there (unfortunately we had to drive a lot that day). Would recommend it without any hesitation! 

Excellent!

Tingala Lodge was a great experience. It is a nice lodge in the middle of a private game reserve with nice rooms, a beautiful fireplace and kind employes. The waterhole, where you can see animals all day, is wonderful. We can also recommand the safaritrips with Royal Shane Safari. Elias is a great Guide.

Tingala Lodge at Bed un the Bush

Friendly  staff greeted us on arrival. The resort was set in breathtaking surroundings. It was so awesome to watch the animals at the watering hole and watch the sunset with the lit fire. Breakfast was
amazing and healthy.

Friendly informative staff, clean and well equipped lodge. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast thats included. We will most definitely visit this place again.

Great value for money

From the moment we arrived, we were made most welcome, Rose and Tom made our stay wonderful.
The place is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, tranquil and very relaxing, you can’t fail to be impressed by this place!
I would highly recommend that whilst staying in this area, you choose to call this place”home” for at least two days, I couldn’t find fault with anything, and I am sure anyone choosing to stay here would not be disappointed.

The name says it all!!!Awesome place to visit...Big Thanks to Tom,Sphiwe,Peter,Amos and Rose....Great hospitality...Clean rooms....lovely swimming pool...Peter made sure we had a bon fire every night...Clean utensils....will definitely recommend....

Tingala lodge best place to stay in Phalaborwa!

It is exactly what it is Phalaborwa Bush Camp is a house in the bush : open set up under a roof with a bed outside and a stunning sitting area to just enjoy the view into the bush ! The waterhole in the back was really visited one night by 3 elephants and one night by 2 waterbucks ! It is so quiet and off the normal that we really enjoyed it ! We had stunning „summer“ weather and used the main lodge for the swim in their pool and relaxed there at the pool , but we enjoyed every minute of our 4 days in our own house in nature ! The 3 bedrooms where of course closed -the bedding cosy and great , bathrooms both functional -water could have been warmer , but fine for the time being there ! Kitchen equipment was sufficient -not excellent but we went out for dinner any way and during the day we where in Kruger ! 
Thanks to Tom and Speewy -we loved it !! 

A real bed in the bush

We had a lovely restful time surrounded by bush veld with a great fire under the stars. Being able to use the kitchen felt very homely. Stafff were welcoming and Peter took good care of us. The lodge was spotlessly clean. Beds and linen were luxurious. Much enjoyed meeting Tom and hearing about the history of the property. The convenience to entering the Kruger park was great even if there is a bit of a drive on dirt roads. We would certainly consider going back.
