I got an excellent service from the time I made the booking until I arrived 
I had a great stay 
My room was ready when I arrived 
The location easy to access , to where I was going 
The place is safe and quite

The lady who attends the place is very sweet. The room I had didn't have hot water (unless it was user error). However, it's definitely worth the price. If you're accustomed to high end hotels this is obviously not for you but if you are flexible it's worth a try. Note that the address is unique and is not easily found in a GPS because the 100 is part of the name of the place and not the address. You may have to ask and local to direct you. One last point is that there was a nice surprise in that 7th st, which is about two blocks from this location, is a restaurant strip which ends with a shopping center.

Quaint hidden gem!

Stay was very okay. Wonderful service,cool area and very nice meals

We were very happy with our stay though our room did not have internet access. Lee was very accomodating and we used the main house day and night for internet needs. The Melville neighborhood is a funky village with restaurants and shops of all kinds within 5 minute walk. All should be aware that Johannesburg and even Melville are high crime areas and all properties have razor electrified wire and guards - a bit scary - but we adapted. Breakfasts were wonderful and this was a great value for the money. The outside of the property is a bit run down and needs work and paint.

Nice, funky neighborhood and great innkeeper

A very pleasant stay.  Lindiwe was very friendly and helpful and always willing to tend to any requests, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for my needs and the room was a welcome respite after some stressful days.

It was indeed a great experience and comfortable room, pity they don't serve breakfast ot that it is not included, that would have completed the experience.VENUE not difficult to find and great location. Will definitely make use of this Guesthouse again. 

Excellent service and best location

I am absolutely puzzled by the good reviews this place has. It is quite run-down - cheaply and badly renovated rooms, no heating in winter. Even though it is cheap, I wouldn't stay there again. The only positive was the friendly lady running the place.

Cheap for a reason

It was a very good time, with good service and close to Bernina where I had training for the week,
Good breakfast and always ontime. The trafic to the workplace is not to bad.
Safe parking inside. Quiet during the stay.
