please give us rechargeable lights during loadshading at times we are busy working and it too dark or we still need to take a shower. 
can we also get take away breakfast if we have to travel before initial breakfast time.

My family was excited to spend the new year's weekend in east London as we were staying in a rural area just outside.The staff were fantastic and we felt safe and comfortable.Our only regret is the pool needed attention from the time we arrived and never got any up until we left. The pool was one of the draws and it was a bit too far gone for us to even clean with the basket ourselves (which we would have gladly done.)I loved though the space we had and the little braai area and kitchen. The breakfast was decent though maybe consider having a few more simple cereals, etc for picky kids.Thanks for having us.

Nice space and good potential

Please clean bathroom and hand basin
and improve on food - not have the same breakfast everyday. eggs too oily.

Type of food not good, bathroom not clean

Spacious and comfortable rooms with the key amenities. 
Friendly and helpfull staff
My room was on the ground floor and had access to the garden, where one could relax after a busy day.
Will definately be back when in East London

Beautiful authentic old home. Owner has tried to keep the beautiful features of the architectural period. Lovely owner and staff who went out of their way to assist, even making me a sandwich on arrival on my request.

The establishment was comfortable and met all my needs. Breakfast was great and the lady at reception who also made my breakfast was really friendly. Only down side was the wooden flooring which was a bit noisy when the people in the adjacent room walked around late at night or early morning but I understand the wooden flooring adds to the character of the house itself :-)  

Comfortable stay at Palm Tree Manor

We loved and enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse. Staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We booked 3 rooms and all of them were very neat and tidy. Overall we did not have any complaints during our stay. Would definitely recommend this guesthouse

Excellent

The breakfast was terrible to say the least - worse when we asked for take away ....
They need to have a variety of choice when it comes to breakfast - limited choice and that's not worth it.
Will never go there again

Its a 4 star guest house but paiintings in bathrooms is peeling off

This is a wonderful place to stay over, the place is clean and quiet, staff friendly and helpful, place welcoming, good food secured parking close to highway and CBD easy to find reasonable pricing and nice view.

A good place to stay over

The facilities are clean and good. The wooden floors are a bit noisy especially if you have the rooms at the front door where everyone comes in at night. Further to that a very nice place to overnight and the rooms are spacious.
