Best location in Skalica! Big, clean rooms, good breakfast and super friendly staff! Very good since years, also Penzión Skalica. Location is also very central, supermarket around and also parking possibilities. Fully recommendable!

This Pension/Hotel ist truly very nice! The rooms are huge, well equipped and the beds are absolutely comfy!!! Very good sleep is guaranteed! The coffee is handmade fantastic and breakfast offers a lot - espacially great choice of eggs.
Family Kaltenbach and all their staff are lovely and dedicated to everybody!

I was using this hotel private and also business. My experience is they have rally nice clean rooms, modern in center of Skalica. The price for the quality is excellent and i think they are best choice in this city. Only problem for me is that downstairs is coffee with smoking and if you go for you key you have to be in smoke.

I stayed in this pension for 2 nights during weekend...Room and bathroom were really nice - spacious, new and clean (level 3 or 4 star hotel, not the pension!)..Little fridge and hair dryer is also available in the room...I used possibility of the breakfast in the room (during weekends I like slow eating in pyjamas :-) ). Day before you can choose on reception from 9 or 10 variants of the breakfast (sweet.., salty - ham, cheese and son...warm variant is also possible - ham and eggs, mashed eggs, sausages...) Breakfast costs 4,50 euro per portion and includes also coffee (expresso, latte or capucino) and cup of juice..Only problem was a bit noisy evenings (I mean noises out of the street), because owners of the pension provide also cafeteria and bar downstairs...So you can hear the people seating on the terrace talking and laughing...I close the windows and used air condition and it was ok.."problem" solved :-) :-) For a little money you ll get more than you expect..I m sure...

Clean, spacious, modern,rooms like from the design magazine! The front office is in the caffee, so full time service. After making check in you are asked for your choice for breakfast. Why? YOU WILL GET THE BREAKFAST SERVED IN YOU ROOM OR BED! Not for any supplement! All guest! The day starts this way so good! It is Pension by name only, but upscaled 4 star hotel in fact. Parking is available, speedy wi-fi, big flat screen on the wall, spaciour bathroom = UDS250+ standard over the ocean!

Very nice, spacious and comfortable rooms. Walking distance from center. Brakfast is not included in price for stay (which is, by the way, very reasonable), but for few Euros one can get great rich breakfast (you have to order day before - contintntal type is served. We had excellent ham and eggs and scrambled eggs) with natural juice and really good coffee or tea. Overall good value for the price. Recommended.

We had the pleasure of staying here on the recommendation of a Czech friend. We were not disappointed. The rooms were clean, the price was very reasonable and the in room breakfast was delicious! Well worth staying! Knowing Czech or having someone with you that speaks the language is helpful but not a deal breaker.
