Metallurg Hotel

This hotel has some of the most friendly stuff I ever experienced in Russia. The hotel is relatively old and so is the ambience and the equipment of thr rooms. Wood floors and carpets are not modern design, but the rooms very clean and tidy. Wifi is good in strength and stability. The shower cabins were installed later and are a bit small with a too large curtain which reduces the available späte to manouver. The bed was good and the linen nice? Hick up as often in Russia is the heating which is not adjustable and hence you end up with open windows in winter and heating in full power. The bar is not cosy but the personnel is attentive. Same for the for the restaurant and the food was good. All in all a very good choice and value for money. A bit outside the town center but a taxi is not expensive and handy available.
