Giuliana with guest services and front desk has been such a blessing to have here. She is very professional, knowledgeable and helpful with accommodations as well as places to eat and things to do.  Very pleased to have met her. 

Government 

This hostel is perfect! Francisco is so nice and clearly cares a lot about the comfort of his guests. he provides clean towels (both bath and beach), pancake mix, shampoo, sunscreen, and even aloe for sunburns! we even locked our keys in our room and he wasn't there but came right away to help us out. very relaxed environment and the porch area upstairs in absolutely lovely. the private room was only $45 a night! he has sharpies outside so you can draw all over the walls, there's free wifi, I was just blown away by how much is included. when I come back to San Juan I know exactly where I'll be staying. THANK YOU FRANCISCO!

The place was fun to stay at. Not too big and not too lively but very, very accommodating. A perfect and cheap spot to stay for travelers new to San Juan. Close to Santurce which is fun! Francisco was very accommodating and friendly.

Great atmosphere and great owner

Let's say that the pictures looked better than reality.
I was a bit on edge the entire time i was there.  The room we stayed in was pretty run down.  The walls were stained and the door handle was barely attached to the door.  The bathroom was an experience all on its own. Granted its been a little while since i was there so some improvements may have occurred.  The staff was very nice and accommodating but i found the pictures mis-leading.

You get what you pay for

What owner of an International Hostel says this with pure arrogance: "yes, we will be rude" AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I'd rather sleep on the street than stay and deal with Francisco's mood changes, online and in person bullying. He should not be in business.

Francisco is not to be trusted and highly emotionally unpredictable & volatile. Worst host in my 25 years of traveling.
