I absolutely loved staying at Hotel Chojnik tutoring at a summer language camp. The hotel is so beautifully situated, surrounded by towering mountains and dense forest- it truly feels like an escape from the chaos of the wider world! The hotel itself is also beautiful on the inside and out- it is spotlessly clean, and the rooms are modern, spacious and bright. Each room is equipped with all the facilities which you could wish for (including a TV!), and our room even had a balcony with amazing views! The attention to detail throughout the hotel is very pleasing, and the grounds are ideal- not too 'wild' but not excessively well-kept either, so that there are many places to discover (including the secret island in the middle of the former moat!). There is also an extensive picnic and campfire area which is lovely when the weather is fit. There is a skiing slope when it is in season and there are numerous hiking opportunities in the vicinity. The staff at the hotel were lovely, and even though they did not speak so much English, they could communicate well enough to understand most things. The food was also very nice. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the lovely rabbit in the reception area, and the friendly hotel cat! I highly recommend this hotel, despite the temperamental wifi and phone signal (but it's always good to have a bit of a break from all that...)

Stunning Location

We stayed here with Angloville 2017 and had a great time.  The food was good and they really worked to accommodate differing food needs such as vegetarian and gluten-free. Our room was on the third floor but spacious with a great view.  The grounds are really lovely and Chojnik Castle (a freaking Medieval Castle!) was just a healthy walk away. The peace of the summer night was incredible.   I would totally go back!

Stayed there and had a great experience!

I was here as part of a teaching course.  The rooms are apartments with a large bedroom with queen size bed plus single beds in the very large lounge which also has a large balcony with lovely views of the surrounding countryside. My gripe about the room was that it was not serviced the whole week we were there and we had to request, or appropriate, toilet paper and clean towels.  There was a wide selection of buffet food for breakfast but the same choices for the evening meal apart from a couple of hot dishes.  Midday soup was great but the main and dessert options were pretty boring. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and there are numerous trails.  It is a hilly area so probably not all that good to explore if you have mobility problems.

Excellent accommodation

There are few places I have visited where you can hear no noise from vehicles, trains or planes.  This was one.  Surrounded by forest and mountains, woodpeckers to wake you in the morning, and the occasional deer to be seen.
The Hotel itself is prettily styled in a Scandinavian way, both outside and inside.  The room was simple but spacious.  The food was freshly prepared and traditional.  The soups were especially good, but the speciality dumplings and gnocchi are like nothing you would taste in the centre of Wroclaw, delicious.  There is a stylish log fire in the centre of the dining room, beautiful.
Although English is not generally spoken, the owners and staff are helpful and friendly.  I had a lovely stay and would happily visit again.

Wonderful location, such tranquility.

This hotel has a great location. Very quiet and peaceful with many trails and tracks through the nearby woods.

The rooms are a good size but there are some issues - the water pressure is low in the higher rooms, possibly just first thing in the morning when everyone is showering. There is a possibly related problem with a lack of hot water in the mornings too, although there is plenty at other times of the day.

The food is not great. Nothing particularly wrong with it but just nothing special.

I was part of a large group and on two occasions there wasn't enough food in the buffet to go round.

The restaurant area was locked until 9am so it wasn't possible to get coffee or tea before this time. This is a bizarre thing for a hotel to do. 

So not a bad place to stay but could be much better.
