We had a lovely stay at Casa Yolanda. Lovely spacious rooms which were clean and tidy. Water occasionally ran out but was quickly sorted out. Nice reception area to relax in. Lots of services available at a good price. Owner was very helpful and friendly. Nice location, near main road but not noisy and only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the sea. We would not hesitate to stay again. Great value!

Yolanda was a wonderful hostess. She was helpful and polite. You get two options with the rooms. A cheaper price without air conditioning or pay more for the air con. It's still fairly inexpensive with the air con added. Like most of the Philippines, hot water is hard to find unless you pay top dollar. And the rolling power outages don't really matter because she has a generator. Wifi is included. And there's fresh drinking water in the lobby. There's also an ice stand next door made with filtered water for only 5 PHP. About a five minute walk to the beach, but that's why it's quieter. All in all, 5 stars! Thanks again Yolanda!

Mama Yolanda, very nice woman in a very clean simple room, comfy bed and a bit quiet yet 5 min walk from the beach and bars. Super chill, wifi works ok sometimes, tv, free coffee and a smile for a smile (means if you generate good energy and positive vibes Yolanda will naturally return it back :) enjoyed our two nights here..

So close to the town proper and beach only a 5-10 minute walk or 20 pesos in a tricycle. Nice litte bungalows with patio. Rooms are clean. Poor water system and wifi but that's the norm in el nido so wouldn't blame the hostel for this. The owner is the most wonderful lady who will do anything for her guests.

Clean and quiet (for El Nido that is)

Nice little find

Casa Yolanda is a clean place. It's a cheap backpacker style place. Nothing fancy. A basic room to sleep and shower. Yolanda the owner is friendly and helpfull. Very close to El Nido centre. Just a 5min walk and you are in the heart of ElNido. My room was noisy next to a generator but I booked late and Yolanda had no rooms available and she offered me the last empty room she had (Christmas/New Year period). I did not have any issues to sleep at night coz they switch the generator off however they sometimes switch it on early morning. Hope this helps ;)

Clean

In the years I have ben booking accommodation and travelling, this hotel is without a doubt the worse experience I have had.

The location is poorly marked and up an alleyway strewn with faeces, there are many aggressive dogs in the area and even dogs inside the hotel itself.

The room was dirty and musty with a terrible mattress, no hot water at all, a bucket shower and threadbare towels. 

The hotel has no housekeeping and terrible security with no CCTV.

The staff were rude and the residents drunk at night and behaving inappropriately to female guests.

I originally booked for 6 nights but left after 2 despite there being no refund. The hotel refused to address any of my concerns actually told me to stop talking when another guest at reception asked me what had happened to make me leave early.

Absolutely Terrible

The worst of all the worst place I've ever stayed,first checked in front desk said no house keeping and the room smell bad,no hot shower and the security is really really poor,not a safe place for a guest to stay and dogs are everywhere even inside our premises. We booked 5nights but left after 2nights even though there's no refund ,will never recommend this place
