Stayed here with our Chinese students during the Imbayah Festival. Booked several rooms. Quite good, per Banaue standards. Toilets are modern, ours even had a bidet; double beds are large, and there are sockets inside the rooms (a rarity in Banaue). Good resto and friendly staff. 

Good Rooms

I stayed at the lodge for 1 night, and I had a lovely stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room I had was very cosy, the bed was comfy and it was everything you could hope for from a lodge in a remote village. The location is perfect and I found the food very tasty indeed (especially the vegetable dishes). I would recommend and I would return for sure. 

Welcoming lodge with nice view 

We stayed here for 2.5 days to explore Banaue, batad and the surrounding region and we are glad we did. 

The hospitality of the staff is remarkable- they arrange really reasonably priced private tours and take care of all the logistics. You just show up downstairs when it’s time to go and you have a fantastic time learning about the history and the terraces. They bring you to the bus station. And when we ran out of cash due to non working ATM (there’s only one within an hour radius and it often doesn’t work) they helped us tremendously.

The food at their restaurant is quite good and we liked everything we had. There is decent variety and it’s well priced.

The only drawback is the bathroom in our room was quite bad- it’s one of those “shower is next to toilet is next to sink” setups which I’ve had before but the draining system didn’t work well so there was standing water in the bathroom. Had to wear sandals.

A great place to stay to explore the rice terraces

A family place with friendly staff and good food. Stayed with my family for 3 nights the room is very basic but clean. There is hot shower which is needed since it’s a bit cold in the mountains. There were is no tv but WiFi which works ok. Get up early in the morning or the street noice will wake you for sure. Room rates at p900 which is ok for what you get. 

Basic, but nice and clean

Stayed here for 2 nights. Room was OK. We arrived at 4:30am by bus and when we checked in around 6:30, the room was ready, which we really appreciated. They also have a locked storage room for when you check out but need a place to put your luggage.

There is a nice view of the rice terraces from the restaurant. Wi-Fi very limited and slow, only accessible in the restaurant. Food was average. For a nice breakfast you can head out to the bakery on the corner of the street when you exit left of the lodge.

Central location

We came here wirh high expectations due to a good review in 2018 Lonely Planet and payed an extra $ for it. However, it was one of the worst places in the country under the line.

The room and the whole 1st floor was smelly, that kinda old smell and we just couldn't get it out of the room. 

Food wasn't very good and quite expensive. Plus they tried to rip is off at breakfast for an "other tea" we've pickedthat supposably wasn't included in the breakfast drink.

We tried to book a hike to Batad via Cambulo (2 days), but the salesperson didn't seem too convenient and trustworthy, so we went to the official office (the one where ypu pay the encironmental or whatever fee) to do it (same price, lovely guide.



Overpriced, smelly room, terrible food, inconvenient staff

Stayed here two nights on an Intrepid trip.  The room was good size and let you hear the noise of the bars across the street.  There was ample hot water.  The food was the worst.  Dinner was so salty several of us couldn't eat it.  Next morning I asked for no salt on my breakfast.  Still to salty to eat.  The next morning for breakfast I ordered a pancake.  It took 60 min. to get and was cold.  everyone on our trip had to wait at least 45 min for breakfast.  We had dinner across the street at the las vegas place and it was excellent.

Room was fair, and sort of clean, but the food is terriable.

i think this place is overpriced: room are small and more expansive than the other guesthouse nearby, most of all i was beaten by bed bugs, i tell to the owner and he became angry telling me that it's normal in the mountain (but this is not true)
