We stayed in Nuna Wasi for a few nights in August 2016. We arrived late at night but there was a member of staff (I guess he was the owner as well, sorry, can't remember his name) to welcome us. We had a private room, which was very spacious and clean and shared a bathroom. The staff were very hospitable, helpful and polite. Although we had heard many stories about Lima being a dangerous place, we felt very safe in the neighborhood, which was lovely. Great place for a few nights!

Whilst at this hostel we stayed in a private room and both the four and eight bed dorms and all of them were great. Both of the dorms were very spacious which is nice change from other hostels who squeeze as many beds as possible into tiny rooms! The hostel is very well located in miraflores near to the boardwalk and mall as well as being just ten minutes from the centre. The area feels very safe and the price relative to anything else available nearby is amazing

Nuna Wasi is an excellent hostel in a great location in Lima. It is in Miraflores which is a  really safe area. I stayed in the 8 bed dorm which had tonnes of space and comfy beds. There were also lockers available. The showers were always warm and the breakfast was tasty. I recommend this hostel to everybody as I really enjoyed my stay. Keep up the good work Tashi!

Good location in Miraflores (safe place) walking distance from everything, boardwalk, mall, restaurants and downtown Miraflores.
The hostel is really nice and the amenities are good. Quiet hostel, nice to relax. Good value for money.
The owner and the staff were really friendly and helpfull.
I was in a 4 bed mixed dorm, which was really spacious (not common in backpacker hostel) and clean. The bed was really confy.
Bathroom was spacious and clean too.
But was a really smoke smell everywhere even in the room. When you are a non smoker it's really not nice. This is the reason why i put 4 stars.

Really relaxed, clean hostel in a great location!

Really nice place to stay

The staff were great, friendly, chilled, and did their best to meet your needs and desires. The price was great, but was this a situation of "you get what you pay for?"  This was, after all, a hostel-- so part of the blame for my rating is that I am not accustom to communal arrangements. I think if you are backpacker, smoker, and don't mind lacking some basics, then this place is ideal.

Basics lacking-- there were no paper towels in any of the bathrooms. This may have been a way to keep people from inadvertently putting paper towel in the toilet. However, trying to dry your hands with toilet paper is no fun.

Though there was no smoking in the rooms or more common areas, there was smoking in the patio area-- which would permeate throughout. That was not fun.

The Wi-FI was free, but it was very weak. You could only get a decent signal if you were near the office area-- which was near the patio-- where everyone smoked. Not fun.

Very nice to have the vegan offerings for dinner. Do wish they had a bit more variety for breakfast?
