I spent two days in this hotel and I found everything clean and confortable . The hotel is located just some steps  far from the main square in Arequipa and that was great cause I could go everywhere just walking , great for saving time and money with stuck taxis in those narrow streets . The breakfast was simple but nice, the lady in charge named Jessica , welcomed us and showed different rooms , she is quite friendly and good at giving customers a familiar atmosphere. It rained a lot during my visit , but the room was warm and nice all the time so I decided to stay one more night cause of a flight cancellation . I will recommend you this hotel for your visits in downtown .

Very nice and helpful atmosphere in this hotel

They wanted to charge me S./60 per person for a shared bunk room including breakfast!  That's insane!  I ended up talking the woman down to S./30 without breakfast.  It was a great location, but that's about all I can say about it.  She said we had our own bathroom, but what it turned out she really meant was that it was a shared bathroom outside our room, but there were not other guests in the other rooms to share it...   Not great.  Also, one time I needed to get inside.  I rang the bell for at least 7 minutes with no response.

Overpriced, but decent accomodation

We (a couple) were searching a private room in Arequipa and unfortunately every hostel was booked due to a congress. Our way brought us to this bed and breakfast, we asked for a room and they said 150 Sol for a night but we had to share the bathroom. We were really tired from not finding a nice and not expensive room so we ended up here. We had the last room in the right and the bathroom was not so clean. After 4 hours we left our room for 1 hour and when we came back the door was open. Camera and mobile phone was stolen from the room.. The people from the hostel didn't understand anything and they said that they don't check each person who comes in the hostel.... So, my advice is to avoid this hostel because it is not safe at all. In the end they also wanted to pay for the room, in which we stayed only 5 hours...

Terrible experience, things stolen from the room

The hosts are really friendly, and the hostal has a great location 30 seconds from the plaza de armas. 

Though it is very close to the populated street, the hostal is inside of the road so it was not noisy at all. 

We really enjoyed the hostal and also family-like atmosphere in there.

Strongly recommend you.

Very friendly hostal and great location

After a long ride from the Colca Canon to Arequipa we arrived at this hostal and the booking was missing (although done by a travel agency weeks in advance).
The staff was passing us on to their "sister hostel" La Compania in Calle Jerusalen.
Here we got a nicely furnished room with neat and clean bathroom.
Unfortuantely the environment is very noisy, with every car passing by on the Jerusalen you had the impression the car is driving just through the middle of your room.
The breakfast, served in the patio was nice.
Restaurants, bars, shopping and Santa Catalina are close by.
