34 reviewsWe recently spent several nights in the Rain Tree Lodge and were very impressed with Konio and her team! She and Ivan (the Lodge driver) picked us up punctually at the airport despite our flight being delayed. Our luggage was lost and Konio went above and beyond to help us coordinate with the airport and also to go pick up our bags when they arrived. For this, we can not thank her enough! We found the rooms to be clean and well equipped. Air conditioning worked well. Bathroom is spacious. We only had cold water from the shower but that was okay because the temperatures outside were very warm. Konio assisted us in planning our outings and put us in touch with a reliable and knowledgeable taxi driver. We had both breakfast and dinner at the lodge and the meals were good. We felt safe and would recommend the Rain Tree Lodge to anyone looking for an alternative to the bigger more corporate Port Moresby hotels. A big thank you again to Konio for being such a kind and helpful host! We hope to see you again.
