What was good

This hotel is great! Its a lovely hotel in a gorgeous location -- try to get a room with a view of the fjord. They have a restaurant/cafe right next door and even better is attached to the brewery. In such a quiet location -- having the brewery is so helpful since there arent many activities. But if you're stopping in Flam, its probably to relax anyway :P

What was bad

You need to ask to get a view of the fjord...the hotel wasnt busy but if we hadnt asked -- we wouldnt have gotten a view, which seems silly. If your hotel is half empty wouldnt you want to give the best views out?!
