51 reviewsThis is quite a unique hotel with a clash of cultures and great staff. Very interesting vibe, the Bamboo Tiger Tiki bar was just opening when we got there, so we hardly got chance to appreciate all that it offered. Rooms compact but a lot of attention to detail & nice touches. Very central location, near restaurants and bars. Everything closed early so make sure you adjust dining times. It does mean the complimentary port is welcome … if you want to get to sleep early probably best to avoid rooms near the port seating area. Didn’t bother us as we were drinking the port at 9.15pm. If you want to go to bed at 9pm it might.
