The White House on Marine Parade Bed & Breakfast

The White House was everyone's favorite lodging during our New Zealand vacation. It felt like we were in a small compound and less than a minute walk from the beach. We loved how the bedrooms were spread out and private, but you could still open the shades and see into the courtyard. The kitchen had plenty of space for our party of 11 and had amazing views of the ocean and mountains. The kids loved the game room so much they slept in it. The property was stocked with all the amenities you would need. The drawers had pictures so that you would know where to put back each item. They had wine and champagne ready for purchase in the courtyard kitchen. The master suite had its own small kitchen and dishwasher. We loved how they left all the ingredients for breakfast since it was a 30 minute trek over the mountain to reach the city. There was a small convenience store a couple of minutes away if you really need something. Our favorite moments were having breakfast together in the kitchen and hanging out at night in front of the fireplace in the courtyard area. Perfect house and location for a family or group vacation.
