The host, Marie, was very friendly. We had a no fuss checking-in and out. The place is very comfortable and it is situated at a very convenient location. We had the studio with double bed and sofa bed for our son. We were provided with generous serving of breakfast. It's a highly recommended place to stay in Leiden.

Perfect stay in Leiden

I stayed in this B&B for 1 night with my mother and my sister. The B&B is a lovely and well equipped studio and the location is very central. We explored all of the city on foot and just around the corner of the street you find many restaurants, cafes and shops. The breakfast was plenty with coffee, tea, orange juice, egg, yoghurt, cheese, jam, various meats, bread and croissants (although delivered the day before, but airtight so it didn't matter to us really) and of course 'beschuit'. Also a big plus is that Maria (the host) was very flexible with our check-in and check-out time, thanks for that Maria! We had a lovely stay at Bed & Beschuit!

Lovely B&B right in the center of Leiden

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and were very happy with our choice.

The B&B is in a very central location of the old city... close to the main tourist sites, bars and restaurants and within walking distance of the Central Station. 

We were made very welcome by Maria and the studio room was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and very warm and cozy when the temperatures plummeted and snow fell !

For breakfast, Maria provided us with fresh rolls and the fridge was stocked with cold meats and cheeses and everything we needed to start the day. 

Highly reccomended !

Bed and Biscuits

We stayed here for 5 nights in October while my husband attended a conference in Leiden.

Pros:
- Marie was very friendly.
- Apartment is very well-equipped and decorated with lots of homely touches.
- Location is superb, right in the centre of town.
- Breakfast supplies were plentiful and delicious.

Cons
- Church bells. If you have a problem with church bells, don't stay here. Also, there's a bit of noise on Friday and Saturday night, but nothing too raucous.
- Sometimes the supplies weren't always stocked up every day - eg toilet paper, but it was a minor inconvenience.
- Wi-fi was a bit inconsistent - it would drop out on occasion, and we had to get Marie to reset the router once.

Lovely apartment in the centre

I was forced to come and pick up the key as otherwise she would not let me in anymore. And when I wanted to check out, she only took cash. I had to wander through the rain for 20 minutes to find a cash machine and lost my train.
