For me, Shangri-la boutique hotel is home during my 5 weeks of stay in Nepal. The owner KK is the most generous and genuine person I ever met, he is always there to help me to organize my trip and to ensure that I have the best experience in Nepal. He helped me to organize 2 treks : Manasulu 12 days and Pikey Peak 5 days. The treks are definitely one of the highlights of my life. Our guides Toran and Harka are just fantastic, always there to make sure that everything is OK and make our talking days so much happier with their humor and good mood. The hotel itself has a good vibe with guests hanging out on the rooftop, it is very easy to meet people. If you are solo traveling, it helps a lot. Confortable bed, hot shower, quiet during night, and so so so delicious breakfast and food ! All the stuffs are extremely friendly and make me fell that I am always welcome. It is one of the best places I stayed during my 1 year travel in Asia, and I wish I can come back one day.
