We was stay in Jewel for 3 times in a month each stay taken 7 days and above. 
Good location,
Quiet,
Clean,
Friendly staffs of housekeeping(big appreciated for housekeeping team),
But,alittle bit annoyed of reception female staffs.They never smile,welcome and friendly. The faces are angry all the times and they will never reply of our greeting even.
They will just look you and act like you are crazy whenever u greet them or smile to them.
Aside of this, everything was perfect. 

Perfect stay except...

If you don't bother and looking at just a place to sleep, this hotel is fine. Cheap rooms which offer the most basic but enough for a place to stay while in the in Yangon. Air condition, shower is good, wifi internet in the room, TV was not working in the room the 2 times I have been there.
However, staff are helpful and friendly. Make sure to get a receipt when you are paying the ròom in advance. Not because they are cheating. Just because they are not organise and not always recording payment done.

Cheap solution

I won't suggest anyone to stay there, the staff is helpful but the rooms smell of cigarette all the time and wifi connectivity is poor. Breakfast served is not of good quality. I did not like the surroundings as well but is very cheap

smelly and disgusting hotel

Location is good for near walking distance to Aung san Residence and the park. Other than that, you need to take taxi to your destination. 20 minutes to airport.

The room is terrible for me, from bathroom to bedroom. 
The bathroom - floor surely wet because no shower curtain or sliding door to block it. It maybe flood as well as water flow is snaily slow. 
The bedroom - as expected, you will get a small bed, Very thin blanket, very dirty carpet (better bring a spare slipper if you intend to stay there). Wifi is slow slow slow.

Breakfast - I m not sure about it but they seem give different type of breakfast. For us, they provide western style (2 fried egg + 2 bread + peanut cooking oil taste). I see they provide noodles for local customer. This you can further ask for options if they do.

Service is good. Fast response and try their best to satisfy your request.

Good hospitality but...

We mistakenly booked this hotel instead of booking another hotel located next to it (we assumed that hotel was called Jewel Hotel because we passed by this area a number of times during our previous visits). We booked and paid online and couldn't get a refund so we stayed anyway for 3 nights and it was the most awful 3 nights of my life. This place stinks. reception staff seemed as though they couldn't be bothered to attend to us. They were eating and chewing their food at the reception counter while checking us in. The room was filthy. It stinked, and the staff was aware of this because as we were entering he sprayed air freshener in the room (which he brought with him on his way up with us). Dust everywhere. Bedsheet smells. Toilet was disgusting. There were bugs on the BED, TOILET and EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOM. Dont stay here. If youre on a budget, there are alot of other hotels with similar price range but with atleast bug free rooms!!
