Does NOT look like in the photos at all, especially the rooftop. It's unkept and messy, you can tell no one puts any effort into it. There are no safe places to keep your valuables either, wi-fi is extremely, extremely bad. 

Bad neighborhood after dark. Constant noise from children yelling outside or men fighting even in the late hours of the night.

Bad ventilation - the room constantly was smelly after showers and we had to stay with our door open all the time - which is not at all ideal. 
Someone said they had rats in the room and honestly, I am inclined to believe them, considering how the place looked like. 

Host was very aggressive and rude to us when we asked to change rooms. 
We had noisy neighbors and he did not bother to tell them to keep the noise down. 

We never met the host face-to-face even if his messages stated he will be there to meet us. 

Would not recommend, avoid this place and get yourself something nicer and maybe outside of the Medina.

In addtion to poor Wi-Fi (needed it SO BAD for work), BAD neighborhood especially after dark and chipped walls, we woke up to rats and rats poop in our room.
Owner accused us of having been messy guests to cover up for how bad our experience was. He got VERY aggressive. 

Avoid at all costs.

We get this Riad because of a overbooking in an other riad. The rooms of this riad are small. But everything is clean and worked wel. The lady that service breakfast is really nice. We asked for tea in stead of coffee and the next morning she already knows it. They just opened a second riad: Riad oum el koutoub.
