Montesan Apartments

The apt building is located right on the beach and apt F4 has two terasses overlooking the sea and the peninsula. Apt F4 is spacious and can easily accommodate 8 people. Towels and beach towels are provided. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge, microwave, utensils, plates, bowls, pots, kitchen towels, a kettle and a dishwasher. There's also a washer in a separate small utility room. There are two airconditoners that you'll definitely need, as the rooms get really hot despite the shutters. Wifi is available though not in every room, but offers good service. The apt building has an elevator that makes carrying the luggages a lot easier. There is a small underground parking lot that has about eight very tight lots. These need to be reserved well in advance, as parking is a real issue in Sveti Stefan. The apt is cleaned every other day and towels are also replaced if needed. The duty receptionist is available between 8 and 18 daily and speaks good English apart from all the languages widely spoken in the Balkans, plus Russian. The manager is extremely helpful. Montesan and the neighboring apts have their own beach, our apt had four sunbeds allocated in the row closest to the sea. The pebbly beach is great and clean, one can rent paddle boats, kayaks, jet skis and the like within walking distance. Sveti Stefan is a destination for boat tours, not a launching point. If you want to take one, you'll need to travel to the Budva area, that is really close by. There are a few good restaurants in town, Kantera and Drago offer great seafood, while we had mixed experience with Adrovic. The latter offers a can't beat type view though. Unlike in other parts of Montenegro, here there is no bazaar-like passage along the beach where locals sell all kinds of cr@p and also delicious street food. This is a rather fancy place to stay.
