This is a small and peaceful resort.  Quiet, efficient service.  Comfortable, spacious apartments.  Food is delicious, the views from the restaurants are superb.  But the best part is the  accommodating and welcoming staff.  We have been coming here for several years and it is predictably wonderful.

This was by far the nicest accommodation we've ever received from booking with RCI.  It was a pleasant surprise.  All-inclusive food and drink was delicious (and superior to the typical all-inclusive fare). Staff was amazingly attentive and constantly striving to make sure we were well taken care of.  Breathtaking views and beautiful rooms.  Outdoor shower AND cooling pool on balcony.  There are 2 restaurants onsite that alternate when they are open for dinner plus a pool-side bar that's open everyday for lunch.   You can also go to sister resort in Ixtapa to eat at their restaurants (free shuttles will take you back and forth).

Great location, views, service. 
Relaxing, convenient with 3 restaurants on premises. 2 beaches just down the stairs. Lot of things to do around. Authentic small town with a lot of small restaurants and shopping is a water taxi, short taxi ride or walk away. 


Wish we could stay longer…Next time! 

From the in room check in to the attention of the wait staff and chefs extraordinary service made this a perfect experience.  Part of our party are vegetarians and they were treated to some incredible meals prepared just for them.  The room was large, well appointed had a magnificent view of the beaches and the bay.  I wish we could get this kind of service and cleanliness in the US.  

All inclusive was worth it!

We've never been to Zihua before and we absolutely loved our stay at the Pacifica Grand! The town was simply magical as well but this is a review for the resort, so I'll stick to that. Our concierge Carolina was so friendly, helpful, and personable. Javier, Marco, and the other managers were all so friendly and lovely. Our favorite servers for the week were Armando, Jorge, Albert, y Luis, who were all (you guessed it) friendly and very hospitable. We never felt out of place or lost here, everyone made us feel so at home. The habitacion was incredible, beautiful, and clean. The rest of the facilities were very nice too. 

We took a trip to the other resort 1 day (in Ixtapa, which is free to do) but I honestly don't recommend it. I feel like it was a wasted day - it was not as clean, much busier and crowded, loud, confusing to get around, you don't get as much included, and the staff were not as helpful. 

Amazing experience 

The Pacifica Grand offers many pluses and minuses. The rooms are great along with a wonderful customer service team.  The location provides a lot of solitude. But the other side of the coin is that you are dependent on taxis to get anywhere, like the many great restaurants and activities in Zihuatanejo.  There is no easy access to the beach that we love about Pacifica in Ixtapa. So if you want to do just nothing this is the place.

Pluses and minuses

We come here every year as we always enjoy! We really liked the staff and this year there was several that had moved to other resorts but Javier and Armando did a great job making sure everything was up to PAR! We tried the Asian Restaurant this time in Ixtapa and really enjoyed it and as always loved the Suspiro & Baugavillia .

Peaceful not finished resort on a hillside in Zihuatenejo. Check in occures at yur room as does everything. Correspondence is by whats app.  We were in Casa Coral room 212. A lovely 2 bedroom unit. 

Everything in room was great, a nice large living room, a dining room, two bedrooms one with kind other with 2 matrimonials. Both the bedrooms and living room with TV's. 

AC throughout except master Bathroom which was open to air. The terrace was large, with a sofa, chairs and a small plunge pool. Views from here quite amazing. 

We had nothing but compliments on the room. Very peaceful resort though it has the vibe of adults only, but children are allowed.  The two restaurants have great views and decent food but service is very slow and hit or miss. Room service the same, hit or miss, miss something, at least one thing, here mostly.  Staff very pleasant 

You can get a shuttle over to Pacifica in Ixtapa and partake of their facilities but in May that ride alone in the heat and humidity was a turn off for sure. 
We sadly, both got a touch of food poisoning while there and on the all inclusive. Took me over 4 days to recover but my husband only a few. 

The above aside we liked the resort, room and staff but the location to  secluded and limited on menu options even with room service. Carolina the manager was excellent. 

We would return for a long weekend stay but no longer. We do prefer the Pacifica Aqua units and vibe much better when it is not under construction. 



Nice change

This is our 4th trip to this resort, and it has become our favorite of the resorts we've visited.  The taxi ride from and to the airport are quick and painless, and they take you right to your room for check in.  No busy lobby!  The one-bed units have a perfect floor plan, and the views of the bay are outstanding.  The grill nights at La Vista were great.  Wish they occurred more often as the regular dinner menus at both La Vista and El Suspiro get stale over a 10-night stay, and the red wines offered on the All Inclusive program are not all that good, but we certainly didn't go hungry.  The entire staff was wonderful as always, but we need to give a shout out to our concierge Carolina who helped us with the special requests for our anniversary stay, Armando at El Suspiro is always great, and Benito, Luis  and Bulmaro at La Vista were all outstanding.  Our housekeeper Maria did a wonderful job every day, and we appreciated her daily decorations.  We couldn't have asked for better service from any of them.

Lay back and relax

Moved to Pacifica Grand from Pacifica Ixtapa due to construction.   Great location with Beautiful views of the city and sunsets.  Walk to Playa La Ropa.  Room service was good.  Nice pool area.  Rooms were really nice with a dip pool.  Only downside was there are only 2 restaurants on-site.   Not many food choices.  Very quiet.
