We spent a night here for the wine and cheese festival. The hotel was beautiful. We got a sweet for around 60 USD. There was a full kitchen with a table, three small balconies, great bathroom, living room area, spacious bedroom with two queen sized beds, and a flat screen tv. The pool was beautiful and the entire setting is great if you like brick walls. It had a great location being only about three blocks from the historic district. We took the bus from Queretaro and walked to the hotel without any trouble. Although it said there would be Wi-Fi it was pretty weak signal, but enough to allow us to check social media. The room is very private since each room is located on its own floor (sort of; it kind of makes up its own floor). All in all, our experience here was great! Would definitely go back.

Absolutely Beautiful

We had only planned on staying in Tequisquiapan for a few days, but this hotel made us change our plans. We stayed a week, and still hated to leave! What a gorgeous hotel .. All of the rooms are like apartments, and huge. Gas stove, fridge, separate living room, and the room we had had 3 balconies, one overlooking the courtyard pool, and 2 overlooking the quiet dead-end street! Great location for seeing the town, we walked everywhere. Very close to the Square ... The staff were so amazing, going out of their way to help us anyway they could; helping us with what sights to see and even going way beyond to see that our room was immaculate! I hope that we will return here someday, as it was our favourite spot to which we have travelled ... and we've travelled quite a bit! Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable and unforgettable! Highly recommend ... Not one thing negative to say!

So great, we hated to leave!

This place was more than we expected in some ways and less in others. We live in Mexico and travel extensively here so we kinda know what to expect. It was less than we expected when we arrived and the place was open but no staff was anywhere in sight or responding to the bell on the counter. When a guy finally came to us it was more than expected because he was very friendly. Also more because we had a very nice upgrade to the room, also more because he helped carry our luggage up the steep straircase. So far so good.

It was less than expected because there was no restaurant and when others came to occupy rooms it was very very loud. This is often the case in Mexico not necessarily because of partiers but people speak loudly, play music loudly and seem unaware that they might be disturbing others in the middle of the night. Also children can be quite rambunctious and very little effort is made to restrain them. So 3 in the morning listening to parents and 7 in the morning listening to kids in the pool. But, they are just having fun away from home so hard to get mad even if it is a little inconvenient.

They had a nice looking pool though we didn't use it. And the rates were very good. We quite enjoyed our stay and would consider this place again next time we go to Tequisquiapan.
