Berjaya Langkawi Resort

Another stay to Berjaya Langkawi and we weren't let down. The staff treat you so so well and always with a smile! We were greeted on check in by Jamal who remembered all our names during our stay and loved to chat and check in with everything. We celebrated my mums birthday and I arranged with Jamal a special birthday surprise which got delivered so well. Cake in the fridge, balloons, towel animals and happy birthday signage in the room. Was so lovely with a special birthday message from the housekeeping team who looked after us very well during our 2 week stay. Pad Thai restaurant was our favourite, the food cheap, epic location and when its not raining musicians (shout out to Natasha & Mr Eky!!) come around to each table to sing, was very personalized and great idea, just an extra touch for a cool restaurant. The pool area was great, can get busy and noisy. When it rains the pool closes, was a little annoying but understand why they close it. Cocktails were nice and strong and the swim up bar was a hit daily! Staff in the lobby lounge massive shout out to Khabijah and Amirah for looking after us so so well with the water, lovely cocktails and the good chats. A shoutout to chefs, Johari, Suradi, Hasadee for making my mums birthday and mothers day extra special with the desserts they prepared and surprised us with. They came out to deliver the breakfast roti personally each morning and having the great daily chats. In general the staff everywhere was epic, Azrul in the breakfast cafe was good crack! Mum and I has a massage in the on-site spa, its a lovely place very chill and relaxing, also getting included pool, sauna and steam room. Watersports we used the jet ski, I thought a little pricey, we wanted to go out again but with the price it wasnt worth it. The shuttle bus crew were great, the resort would be lost without this service as its a big resort, you dont realise how big until you head to the restaurant or spa thats hidden away. You can see the building are old and could use a coat of paint but its no minor. Monkeys, Hornbills and lizards are your entertainment from your balcony, who needs a tv when staying in the rainforest. Cant wait to return one day!
