Somerset Kuala Lumpur

Of all the affordable options available in Kuala Lumpur, Somerset, in Jalan Ampang, has to the best one possibly. We stayed here, first for three nights, and even though the hotel has a policy of check-in from 3.00 pm, upon our reaching the place a few hours before this, they willingly accommodated us and even helped us with the luggage since we had a child with us. The room was just adequately spacious, the amenities and service were all top-notch, the view was splendid and what could one ask for more? We checked out on the fourth day but since we were to return in another two days' time from Penang, we got our extra luggage stored at the hotel and they again assisted us most kindly and courteously. Even the breakfast served every morning - one could collect toast, juice, a mix of sausages, salami, boiled eggs, baked beans and more, and even an option of spaghetti or Malaysian rice dishes from the lobby and bring it back to the room and even heat it up and eat it on plates comfortably - was quite filling and worth the price. We felt properly relaxed when we returned from Penang and the remaining two days and nights were equally memorable in every way possible. On the whole, I would recommend everyone to choose to stay in this wonderful and not too expensive place in Kuala Lumpur.
