This lodge is immersed in the beautiful tranquil nature of the park. The pool is beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent and a lovely dining area. The grounds are stunning. My room had a patio looking with a view of the national park - it was a dream! I was very comfortable and happy here. It was well worth the upgrade on my tour package!

Luxury and calm in beautiful nature!

Lake Nakuru Lodge is one of the best properties in the area overlooking the grasslands and the lake with a watering hole right next to it for viewing animals. We saw a large herd of cape buffaloes in the middle of the night right outside the property fence. The rooms are park facing, spacious with hot water round the clock. The staff is super helpful and the food is great. They have a spa, a beautiful pool, a small shop with postcards, and an artist who sells his work in house. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here.

Excellent Stay

We we very dissappointed. It was not as advertised. There was no wifi in rooms and very limited in common areas, no air conditioning or bath as advertised. They didnt have our booking and was not expecting us. The powerpoints did not work so we had one powerpoint for a fan, lamp and charger for our phones. I requested a partial refund but because of the limited internet my request could not be submitted online.

This lodge is amazing!  Not only does Mother Nature provide fantastic views but you get to see them right from your porch...flamingos, giraffes, baboons and more!
 The rooms are wonderful and the staff could not be more accommodating.  They provide for your every want, are attentive to your needs and so delightfully pleasant.  This is truly a wonderful experience.

If you want a place in Kenya where you want to stay in a luxurious hotel and see wildlife from your hotel room then this is the ultimate place.
Best property, best view, best food ,extremely hospitable staff , clean rooms facing the lake. There is nothing you can complain about here

We are writing to express and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful time we had at your cottage. Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge, the service was top notch and the views amazing.

We were blown away by how beautiful our room was as soon as we walked in. The design and decoration of the room was tasteful, making it feel relaxed and welcoming. However, the view of Lake Nakuru from above was the best. When we woke up we saw buffaloes feeding on the grass next to our room. It was an incredible sight that will stay with us forever.

Lake Nakuru Lodge is in a truly beautiful location. Located close to Lake Nakuru, the lodge provides a peaceful escape into nature. The peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery around the lake made it a great place to relax and enjoy nature for the one night we were there.

Eating in the dining room was a real experience. Every meal, from lunch to dinner to breakfast, was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The range and quality of food went beyond what we expected, making every meal memorable.

On the other hand, the warm and helpful staff made our stay truly special. The team that worked at the lodge showed great kindness. From the front desk to the kitchen, all the staff went out of their way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Their genuine smiles and willingness to help gave it a personal touch that made us feel really welcome.

Last but not least, our stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge was wonderful and relaxing. It was the best part of our trip because we had a beautiful room with a view, delicious food and great service from everyone. We highly recommend Lake Nakuru Lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay near Lake Nakuru.

An overnight at lake nakuru lodge

Lovely location. Service was good but not at par with the great Kenyan hospitality. Chef was very good and helpfulThe room was in a bad shape. Half the Lights and stitches didn’t work. Bathroom doors didn’t close.  Internet Wi-Fi didn’t even work in the rooms. Just 2 small bottles of water in the room. For $400 per night per room, it was a disappointment.  Not worth even half

The staff was amazing and the facilities were all that one would need. Very good value. Great park for a day of game driving. Saw lions and rhinos and more. Spent another day just relaxing, reading by the pool, and staring at an unbelievable view. We miss it already and it’s just been a day.

We stayed here for one night. The rooms were good, big and had an amazing view across the park. There are baboons throughout the lodge and there is a waterhole in front of the restaurant. We spent lunch watching warthog and buffalos bathing in the waterhole. Meals were buffet style. Food was good quality but there was not a large variety, which is one thing that we feel could be improved. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the lodge was perfect for a one night stay. We were very lucky to see black rhino and a leopard on our drive at Lake Nakuru. Staff at the lodge told us that a leopard had not been seen for six months.

Great location and views

The hotel has a great location and has a watering hole right by the restaurant so you can watch zebras while lunching.

The room was ok but the sink was very cracked and stained and the shower trickled out so didn’t feel like I could wash my hair without spending hours rinsing it.  We also found the bed and pillows very hard.  

We loved the fact the room had a terrace and we could sit peacefully and read but overall the room was tired.

The food was also ok.
