10 sleeping 3 beds tends, 1 collective tend with the fire into the middle, 1 house for bathes and showers, 1 sunny "garden": nothing else to give the infinite peace, silence....desertic atmosphere.....no need more.
Beduins are superb! fantastic people!

Sleeping under the stars

Aodah, the owner, and Salem, our guide, were both very kind and supportive. Salem drove us through the desert leaving us free to enjoy landscape and atmosphere with no rush, for lunch he cooked for us an amazing Ghllaya.
Night in tend camp was superlative, we were the only guests, Aodah spent with us some time talking around the fire and watching stars was breath taking.

We were met at the Wadi Rum visitiors centre at 2.30pm and driven around Wadi Rum for a few hours, stopping at all the main sites. Wadi Rum is absolutely beautiful, we then went back to the camp, climbed the hill for sunset and were treated to a delicious dinner that had been cooked in an underground oven. The rooms were very basic but comfortable, toilet/shower very basic and water was a mere drizzle (certainly not enough for a shower) but, hell, it's the desert! The night sky was stupendous - it saw the entire galaxy, and possibly a few beyond ours! Altogether an unforgettable experience.

Our tour guide didn't understand a word of English, the same as the guy that welcome us at the camp ( they didn't even  know the name of the camp) .  We were left with him without a car nor mobile connection .
At 8 pm the owner arrived and was very rude answering our question ( he told us we'd better learn Arabic !!).  
After dinner he went away and left us with the other guy, no car , no connection .
We didn't feel safe at all.
No sheets, no towels 
An awful experience in a wonderful place
