28 reviewsI found myself in Ajloun on a rainy afternoon after a long overseas journey and without a hotel reservation. Yamen, at the Ajloun Hotel, came to the rescue fluent in English ( to my relief) and assisted with my burdensome luggage. The room was comfortable with an amazing view of the Ajloun Castle and surrounding hills. Olive trees galore! What is special about this hotel is the family that owns and runs it. There is rich history in Ajloun and Jordan in general, having people who speak English well and will joyfully take the time to share this knowledge with you, is a true gift for any traveler. I stayed at the hotel over a week and was blessed to have had many conversations with Yamen, the manager, and other family members. True Jordanian hospitality on display! Yamen drove me to town himself several times to visit the bakery, fruit markets and money exchange too. An amazing stay. I learned so much. Thank you!!
